Jim and Smokey want to remind everyone, we are getting into fly season. We have an assortment of biting flies here in northern Nevada, that can wreak havoc on your horses. Pigeon Fever ran rampant in our area the last two years, and one way it can be spread is via fly bites. We have a special on all fly sprays coming up, so stay tuned. In the meantime SWAT is a great fly repellent especially for the ventral abdomen, where biting flies can cause substantial trauma. Apply a thin layer to the midline abdomen, tips of ears and around any wounds your horse may have. We carry the original, which is bright pink and clear.
