Mallori started as a kennel tech part-time, almost two months ago. She is a Junior in high school and attends Panola College for dual credit classes. Mallori loves sleeping, spending time with her family and friends, and most of all, her mini-aussie Tucker!

Meet Dana, a true animal whisperer! Born in Portsmouth, Virginia but raised in Beckville, Texas. Her connection with animals started early on – from daring adventures in a dog house with an aggressive momma dog and her pups to caring for newborn calves by wrapping them in her ‘blankie’. It was no surprise when she pursued Vet Med in high school learning the basics of dog grooming and earning her CVA license, and then diving into vet tech world during and after high school . After a few years of working as a Tech she decided it was time for a change and began her Dog Grooming career! She’s been grooming for a little over four years now, and couldn’t be more happier with her decision to change paths!

Meet Penny Trahan – A Heart for Animals, People, and Faith 🐾❤️
Born in Shreveport and raised in Texas, Penny’s love for animals started early and has only grown stronger. From caring for horses and cows on her farm to stitching up injuries and bottle-feeding calves, she’s done it all with grace and grit.

Her compassion extends beyond animals — Penny has a true heart for people. Guided by her faith, she’s always ready with a kind word, a helping hand, or a prayer when it’s needed most.

A proud mother of eight and grandmother of ten, Penny treasures time with her family — especially when they’re gathered around the table or out fishing together. With her strong faith, deep compassion, and dedication, we’re so grateful to have her on our team!

🗣️The daily Carthage Veterinary Hospital Vet Technician showcase🗣️

🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾SONYA GRIFFIN🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Born and raised in Benton, La, my childhood dream was to always be a teacher. After years of subbing and being a paraprofessional, I decided to try something new. I've always loved animals and have always had a way with the "special" ones. From using popsicle sticks and medical tape to make a splint for my ducks foot, saving my goat who had polio, saving a dying kitten, helping deliver baby goats, and just recently saving a pig from salt poisoning, my love for animals has grown. I have been in veterinary medicine for almost two years now, and I feel like I've finally found my calling. I joined CVH three months ago and I am so thankful to work with such an awesome staff and Doctor! When I'm not working, you can find me at home spending time with my wonderful husband of almost 15 years, and our three beautiful children. We are currently building our dream home and have started our own little, mini farm. When we aren't working, chasing kids in extra curricular activities, or tending to the farm, we are serving our Lord and Savior at our favorite place in Carthage, Texas, Stillwater's Cowboy Church. My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, 'For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' And HE does just that. I would not be where I am today without HIM!
