I'm so very proud of these two boys and thrilled for their owners. (Shaka)
BISS GCH SeaRidge King Kamehameha and (Wynn) CH SeaRidge Not An Angelfish, are both in the top 20! Shaka is number 10 and Wynn is Number 17! Shaka is out of GCH SeaRidge's Diamond In The Ruff, CGC, CWD, RN, TKN X GCH SeaRidge Ain't Misbehavin CGC, CWDX, RN, TKN and has just turned 2. Wynn is out of GCHB Allegiance Fish Out of Water With Marinella X SeaRidge C'est La Vie. Wynn has shown very little and just turned 1 last month. Congratulations to Toni McHugh Harry Mchugh Shaka's owners and Pete and LeighAnn Thompson Wynn's owners.

Shaka's BISS win and the fact that he is ranked number 10 is especially exciting because of what he has been through this year. He was almost killed in a tornado the beginning of January on his way to the Brooksville cluster. Chalanco Kennels Angie, has helped Shaka heal, taken great care of him and has piloted him in the ring sporadically as his owners heal both physically and emotionally. We are all very thankful for the care Angie has given Shaka.

We have bred C'est La Vie (GCHB SeaRidge C'est La Vie, CGC, WWDX, RN, TKN) to Tide (GCHB Del Sur's Turning The Tide At Cold Iron), and the litter is due early April 2024. This pedigree has many dogs who have lived long lives well into their teens. We strive to research pedigrees to bring together dogs with health, longevity, breed type and loving temperaments. Both parents have been health tested per the PWDCA.org recommendations as well as the optional test for CDDY, which both parents are CLEAR. N/N.

We are so proud to say, pending AKC approval, SeaRidge has its newest champion!!! Wyn, SeaRidge Not An Angelfish finished his championship in style going BOW in Brooksville today. Wyn recently turned 9 months old and finished with two 4 point majors and three 3 point majors.

Thank you Pete and Leigh Ann Thompson for being fabulous owners and I hope you’re enjoying the ride. Thank you Brittany Phelps for your beautiful presentation and thank you Amy Durkin Lane for letting me use your handsome boy Marco. What a litter it was.

We are thrilled to announce we are expecting puppies in March. We bred GCH C'est La Vie CGC, WWDX, RN, TKN to GCH Allegiance Fish Out of Water With Marinella (Marco). Both dogs LOVE the water.

Momma C'est La is a dark black, wavy, 19" beautiful, robust working and loving machine. She is incredibly smart, loves the water, loves to learn which she does very quickly, loves to snuggle and loves to eat. She began launching herself into the water on her 10 week birthday and does so every chance she gets. She's a lot of fun and makes us laugh constantly. She finished her AKC Championship and Grand Championships very quickly with me handling her. She has done very well in the National Specialty including winning best in futurity as a young girl under a breeder judge.

Daddy Marco is dark brown, wavy, 21" handsome, robust, loving boy. He loves the water and will go far underwater (shoulder deep) looking for things. He has a happy, easy, outgoing personality. He's very smart and loving as well. He has done extremely well in the conformation ring, even placing in the ribbons in our National Specialty the past two years.

Both parents are FULLY HEALTH tested and bred per the recommendations of the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America

This is Carbons grandfather. There’s a strong family resemblance!

MBISS International/Portuguese/American Ch Pinehaven's On The Town, or "Dillon," posing on the shore in Estoril, Portugal. Bred by Bev and Tom Rafferty in 1992, Dillon went on to win the first ever Portuguese Water Dog Club of America Specialty in 1992. He went on to win again 4 years later and to become a top producer for the breed. Up until that time, few American PWDs were shown in this classic lion clip, but many felt it might improve their chances at victory in the ring. This more native Portuguese look was adopted by a number of exhibitors, and after this first specialty it shared the spotlight with the retriever clip.

​The Portuguese Water Dog once lived all along Portugal’s coast, and was used to herd fish into nets, retrieve lost tackle, and act as a messenger between ships and shore. Fishermen counted on the strong and muscular dogs to be hardworking and seaworthy. They would ride in trawlers from the warm Atlantic waters of Portugal to the freezing cold waters off the coast of Iceland. Technology eventually laid him off from his job, but the breed is still used for water rescue. 💦

We are so excited to announce the arrival of 4 beautiful pups born, Memorial Day, May 31, 2021. Parent's are BISS GCH Del Sur's High Voltage (Static) X CH SeaRidge Mama Mia (Menina). It's a wonderful pedigree, both parents are fully health tested per PWDCA recommendations. Interviewing potential show/ performance home for a girl.
