🚨 WE CURRENTLY HAVE 311 DOGS AT THE SHELTER AND ONLY 138 KENNELS! 🚨

We are BEYOND critical and despite our efforts, dogs will be placed on euthanasia deadlines.

We have NO OPEN KENNELS, MULTIPLE ANIMALS BEING HOUSED TOGETHER, AND NO FREE SPACES IN OFFICES.

We desperately need fosters, adopters, and owners to reclaim their dogs! Fostering is an easy process, adoption fees are low, and we have reclaim forgiveness programs!

Please share everywhere. We are deeply saddened to be in this predicament once again. Thank you to all our supporters for your continued help. We wish we had better news, but this uphill battle continues.

Please help spread the word.

If you were at Dogs Cats and Cowboy Hats then you most likely met our amazing friends and caterers, Renner’s BBQ . Sean and his family loooovess animals and I am ecstatic to share that for the second year running, they have saved a dog from the shelter, after our event!💕🐾💕🐾💕 Sean jokes and says they won't be able to work with us anymore lol! I say by the time I am too old to continue, they will have saved 100 dogs❤️
They came to the PUP OR TREAT 2023 event last weekend and fell in love with Matty B. Matty is approximately 12 years old and has lost his hearing and most of his eyesight due to a vicious dog attack. But today his life changed, forever...Matty B is,
H❤️ME, FOREVER. Look at that smile❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you Renner family for being the most amazing humans🥰 we love you!

Wow‼️ Pinal County, you are AMAZING! We had such a wonderful night with you all, thank you for supporting us and helping to make the 2nd annual Dogs Cats and Cowboy Hats Furraiser a great success! None of this would have been possible without my AMAZING friends and family who traveled from all across the US to volunteer their time, Kansas, Nevada, Nebraska, Colorado, local, as well as other areas of Arizona! They worked their tails off, i am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life! There were several last minute glitches and we apologize for being short staffed, but thank you so much for being so gracious and patient with us.
The food was AMAZING, AS usual, thank you Renner’s BBQ for ALWAYS going above and beyond, we love you! Kirk Russell Music, you're the best, you stepped right in without hesitation and killed it! Pinal County Animal Care and Control, you all are the best and your dogs were absolutely perfect! Sheriff Lamb, your kindness and generosity is so greatly appreciated, thank you for supporting us, you're the BEST!

City and county shelters get a bad rap, and I was just as guilty of thinking "they're all the same ". But I've learned, that's simply not true.
I would never support a shelter or rescue that gave time limits on Animals lives. Just because a human failed them is no fault of theirs, why should they lose their life because of it?! Yes, City and county shelters are funded through taxpayers monies, but i can promise you that the need FAR exceeds any budget. We are living in a disposable, throwaway society, with lack of empathy for each other, let alone, animals. People get them based on an emotional decision and then decide its a burden then either dump them or surrender them or worse, neglect them.....and who is left to Clean up their mess???? Shelters.

At any given time our shelter is beyond capacity(200+dogs)and there have been dogs who have been In their care for well over a year or two. Why? Because maybe they are less adoptable for this reason or that reason, but that doesn't mean their life doesn't matter. The staff at Pinal County Animal Care and Control is invested in these animals. They go above and beyond every single day to give them everything possible that they need to find a forever home. But sometimes that wait is long.....but their lives are never in jeopardy while waiting. I hope together we can change the mindset and educate others that not all shelters are the same.
