The staff at Caseville Small Animal Clinic will be hosting a low cost TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program for feral cats, living in Huron County, on April 27th. THIS IS NOT FOR INSIDE PETS!! We are aware of the overpopulation of feral felines in our area and would like to make a difference and try to reduce the number of new kittens being born to these feral colonies. The cost will be $50 (CASH ONLY) per cat (male or female). All cats will be tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), and if they test negative, will be spayed or neutered, the tip of their left ear will be removed for visual reference of being fixed. They will also be given a Rabies vaccine, dewormed, and treated with a topical flea medication. We are able to perform these services at this price due to a combination of the staff at Caseville Small Animal Clinic donating their time (volunteering) and through generous donations of cat lovers wanting to help! We will be accepting a maximum of 30 cats. If you are interested in having a cat(s) spayed or neutered we will have you come to the clinic, prepay (CASH ONLY), and sign a waiver before April 25th. This will reserve your spot. Once 30 cats are signed up, we will be adding names to a wait list. The cats will be admitted on the morning of the 27th and will be discharged the same day in the afternoon. Since starting this program in the fall of 2020 we have helped prevent thousands of unwanted kittens from being born. If you do not have any need to participate in the program but would like to help, we are always accepting monetary donations so we can continue to offer this in the future.
Sign up will start on April 21st at 9:00am. We will ask that you line up at the designated area outside and will bring you into the back lobby one at a time for sign up.
Please call the Caseville Small Animal Clinic at 989-856-3525 if you have any questions.

The staff at Caseville Small Animal Clinic will be hosting a low cost TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program for feral cats (strays, barn cats, a neighborhood cat you have been feeding, etc.) living in Huron County, on Sunday, April 27th. THIS IS NOT FOR INSIDE PETS!!

There is an extreme overpopulation of feral felines in our county and we would like to make a difference by reducing the number of new kittens being born.

The cost will be $50 (CASH ONLY) per cat (male or female). All cats will be tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), and if they test negative, will be spayed or neutered. The tip of their left ear will be removed for visual reference of being fixed. They will also be given a Rabies vaccine, dewormed, and treated with a topical flea medication. The cats will need to be transported to our clinic on the morning of the 27th and will be discharged the same day in the afternoon. We will only be accepting a maximum of 30 cats.

Sign up will start on Monday, April 21st at 9:00am and is in-person only. We will ask that you line up at the designated area outside and will bring you into the back lobby one at a time for sign up. You will reserve your spot by pre-paying (cash only) and signing a waiver.

THIS EVENT WILL FILL UP VERY QUICKLY- Don’t wait!!

Once 30 cats are signed up, we will be adding names to a wait list.

We are able to perform these services at these reduced prices due to a combination of the staff at Caseville Small Animal Clinic donating their time (volunteering) and through generous donations of cat lovers wanting to help. Since starting this “CatsSnip” program in the fall of 2020 our clinic has helped prevent thousands of unwanted kittens from being born.

If you would like to help please consider making a donation so that we can continue to hold these events in the future.

Please call the Caseville Small Animal Clinic at 989-856-3525 if you have any questions.

MISSING CAT!!

Grayson, 2 yr old male grey tabby indoor cat. He may have slipped out early this morning, 4/3/25. In the town of Kinde. I left briefly but could not find him when I came home.
Though he has bonded to me, he is afraid of other people. He is neutered, microchipped, has all his claws. Has not been out on his own since he was rescued at 6 weeks old. If found please call or text 919-438-9621.
Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate it.

Yuck!!
We found this deer tick on a dog yesterday. 🤢Michigan parasites are going to become extremely active as temps warm up. Be ready!!

Make sure you check your pets for any unwanted stowaways and keep them protected with tick preventative and lyme vaccination.

Our hospital has diagnosed Lyme disease in several pets already this year and tragically have had one dog die. 💔

Please Share!!

Autumn is a Collie Husky Mix, she is spayed but not up to date on shots. I am willing to pay for her to get shots if that is an option to make sure she can go to a good home. She is about 9 years old. I have had her since December 2016. She's great with cats and other dogs and is the center of attention. She's very vocal when she wants attention, love, food or going outside. The husky is very prominent. She's also been around both my kids ages 4 and 10 and does amazing with them. Autumn is house broken, I've never had her have any accidents in the house.
Thanks in advance,
Timothy
