I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.For angels, our computer crashed so we are at least a day behind on paperwork and making Monday returns. Call 307-247-2277 if you have any questions. I am also wanting to bring a few things to your attention.
First off, thank you all so much for your support and grace after the loss of our mother, wife and owner of Angel Companions. We are quickly coming to realize the hard work and dedication she instilled in this business but we are happy to fill such large shoes.
Next, there have been many parvo cases and scares that have been presented in Casper. We are still committed to picking up your beloved pets that have been strickened with illness and/or viruses, but there are different steps we will be taking to ensure our own pets, rescue pets, neighbors' pets, and even clients' pets are safe. We will no longer be doing hair or paw prints on parvo cases. If you even have the slightest chance your own pet may have parvo, please be honest and let us know.
Finally, we understand times are hard. We want to meet people in the middle when it comes to the cost of paying for our services. We feel like we've done that with the pricing system we offer now. We have happily been able to hold pets in the past with an individual contract and honor rule. Recently, we have had to readdress that honor rule and will now be charging for any kind of hold. We will be asking that $40 must be paid before we complete a pickup. We hope you understand.

Our mother, the wife of Angel Companions owner, Steve and the true person behind the blood, sweat and tears of our family business, is no longer suffering.We apologize we haven't been ourselves the last three weeks. She even apologized through the pain. We promise to get back to the order and values Lorran instilled and worked so hard to create. Thank you for all the well wishes and support. Lorran will be greatly missed.

As we continue this process, we ask that you also let us pour our heart and soul into the one that makes Angel Companions run so smoothly; our mom/Steve's wife, who is up against the fight of her life. Please be patient and understanding of our situation. Please know that our process remains the same but give us some grace as we navigate this difficult time for our family.

Clay paw prints...

Please, all you Angel Companions followers, if you are facing end of life for your beloved pets, we are still offering clay paw prints for a keepsake. We make the paw prints for the majority of our vet clients but there are a couple that make their own pr don't offer them to their clients. If you are interested in a clay paw print (we don't do ink prints), ask your vet. If they don't offer one, you can call us directly at 307-797-2080to place your order. Please don't wait too long after leaving the vet to notify us as we are extremely busy and may start our process without knowing you want one. If you know of someone facing this decision for their pet, let them know also. Most pet owners really like having the paw print as a memento.

Please...if any of you have room in your home and in your heart to foster a Husky or Malamute, please contact Moonsong Malamute Rescue or myself. We desperately need foster homes! The rescue will pay for all expenses...food, vetting, etc.

Save dogs from euthanasia!!!

We are desperate for foster homes. Without foster homes we cannot help dogs in need. We already have dogs living in kennels that are not doing well 😰

Angel Companions is happy to have pet owners bring their pets out to our location but PLEASE call first to let us know. If we are in town picking up pets, there may not be anyone here to accept the pet.

OH MY GOODNESS! I was so surprised to find out that Angel Companions was runner up in the 'Best Business' category with Oil City News for 2023! Out of all the businesses in Casper! Steve, the girls and I want to thank all our supporters and those who voted for us. Makes all the hard work and long hours worth it. Thanks again Casper! 💞💕💞

Pets, it turns out, also have last wishes before they die, but only known by veterinarians who put old and sick animals to sleep.

Twitter user Jesse Dietrich asked a vet what was the most difficult part of his job.

The specialist answered without hesitation that it was the hardest for him to see how old or sick animals look for their owners with the eyes of their owners before going to sleep.

The fact is that 90% of owners don't want to be in a room with a dying animal.

People leave so that they don't see their pet leave. But they don't realize that it's in these last moments of life that their pet needs them most.

Veterinarians ask the owners to be close to the animals until the very end.
"It's inevitable that they die before you. Don't forget that you were the center of their life.

Maybe they were just a part of you. But they are also your family. No matter how hard it is, don't leave them."

Dont let them die in a room with a stranger in a place they dont like.

It is very painful for veterinarians to see how pets cannot find their owner during the last minutes of their life.

They dont understand why the owner left them. After all, they needed their owner's consolation.

Veterinarians do everything possible to ensure that animals are not so scared, but they are completely strangers to them. Don't be a coward because it's too painful for you.

Think about the pet. Endure this pain for the sake of their sake.
Be with them until the end.🐾🐾🐾

After 23 years of using the same urns for our cremations, we have lost our supplier for the tins. They are discontinuing them and moving on to selling the cremation machines. After a long search, we decided on a new urn. The first picture is our old cream colored tin with the blue flowers. The second picture is our new one. Tell us what you think!

If there is one thing I hate, it's a liar! Something I hate even more is someone making one of my kids cry. Angel Companions has been our life for 20+ years. We have gotten up at 2:00 in the morning to go pick up a pet that passed away... worked 7 days a week foregoing vacations and holidays to take care of others' pets...done everything we could think of to keep our prices down so more people could afford cremation for their pets. Tonight one of our clients made one of my kids cry by telling her that she was unprofessional and she should have had more comfortable transportation for their deceased pet and then posted a rant on Facebook that was full of lies. Yes I was mad about my daughter and was on the defensive but these people were out of line with complaining to my daughter about our procedures under the guise of constructive feedback. If anyone has feedback about our services, we are more than happy to listen but it needs to be given to either Steve or myself. To the best of our knowledge, the way we handle pets now from pickup to return affords them the respect and dignity they deserve.

As far as the Facebook post from our client, I don't plan on responding to it on the other page because I don't feel like stirring the pot. For those of you who have never used our service but feel entitled to comment on the post, remember there are always two sides to every story.
