We had a great first session at the Ohio Star Fair! Our Natural Coloreds took first flock & we had 1st place Fall Ram with “Vengeance”. “Dolly” took 2nd & “Renegade” was 4th! We are super excited to see where these yearlings & buck take our flock. 4 generations are pictured in this photo. 😁❤️

BMF 2319 RR The first ewe lamb offered out of Makers Mark Cedar Lane 2112 the second high selling ram at the 2022 Ohio Dorset Sale. He has gave us a stellar set of ewe lambs and rams and decided since this is the first time back to the sales we would offer one of our best ewe lambs and natural colored ram. She is futurity nominated should be staying here but your gain our loss. See them at the Ohio Showcase Sale. Our first sale in 3 years since Mark passed and so excited to be back.

Introducing "Lucky Boy" to our line of Stud Bucks. We have 7 beautiful ewe Lambs out of "Makers Mark" we are keeping two and offering the rest up for consideration. We are confident that this Ram will cross beautifully with Makers Mark lambs. We are excited to see what this great stud will give us. Thank you Lobdells for offering this ram for sale. I am sure he will go on to doing great things!!

It was fantastic week at he Ohio State.Fair. The sheep looked awesome thanks to the whole family and on to the next fair!! After the NAILE we will be offering a rr natural colored ram!!

Wow!! What a great weekend with family and friends. Thanks to Select Livestock Services for putting on such a fantastic show and sale. Alot I want to tell Mark about the weekend I think that is the hardest part. But h would be proud of his girls and their purchases.. Building up the the natural colored flock a sheep at a time. We are excited to add "River" and "Middle Child" to our flock. Just wish we were on this journey with that guy that started it all and taught me so well.

SOLD. This natural colored ram holds a very special place in our hearts and we have used him and had so much success with him. We can no longer use him we have to many ewes we have kept out of him. Great breeder never misses. We just want him Have a great home for the rest of his life. We can deliver him to the Ohio Dorset Sale...❤

The family worked hard this year and lots of memories and tears but we did it. Hadleys first time in the showing. First time back to the NAILE and the Ohio State Fair. Lots of memories and tears but we are determined ed to push on and make him proud carrying on his legacy. We are determined to put together a great set of sheep and come back with a bang at the 2024 Ohio Dorset Sale. See you down the road!!

This is what family is all about!! Show season. Is over and it was a successful one do to the hard work of this whole group. Grandpa would have been so so proud and the memories continue...we will always support each other and keep moving forward...Love Love my family..❤❤❤

This summer was alot different this year but we all as a family made it happen. We have a lot of memories made and lot of firsts for me. I had the opportunity ro judge Ladies Lead at the Ohio State Fair. I also showed in Adult Showmanship at the Miami County Fair due to the fact my grandkids wanted me to and I won. Hadley had her first Dorset Junior Show at the State Fair and we had Reserve Champion Dorset ram and on we went to the Miami County Show where we had Supreme flock. I so hope we made Mark Smile. Now on To making memories at the NAILE and to the new season for me lambing. Just have to keep moving on...

It was hard for the whole family with all the memories of mark but we all worked together and made it happen. So proud of our family and the love we share. First show of many and making those memories for all our family just like he would have wanted. We had:

4th and 6th Yearling Ewes
2nd early Fall
1st late Fall Ewe lamb
3rd winter ewe lamb
2nd Spring..aka "Baby" Hadleys Ewe
2nd Flock
Now on to the Natural Colored and making memories for our family just like he wanted.❤❤

Today is the dorset open show at the Ohio State.Fair. it's going going.be hard without the man that made this all.happen. We all have worked hard and the boys made the sheep look amazing. This is our first time without Mark and we sure hope we make him proud...

Hadley made her first appearance in the showing ring and place first in the spring ewe lamb class in the Great Lakes Regional show at the Ohio State Fair and wished her Great Grandpa Bell could have seen her. He couldn't wait till she was old enough to show and we made his dream come true. So so proud of her. Really really wished he could have seen her!!

Okay...the girls always think I leave them out in pictures and what a great job they do getting all the sheep ready. Without these girls it would take a heck of a lot longer...love love my family❤❤❤
