OUR CHUCK THE MUCK HAS PASSED AWAY.πππ
"TROY" San Bernadino City Shelter, CA #A544352 .
Adopted & returned for "being too old & sick". Fluffs & Scruffs, A Dog Rescue pulled Chuck at the behest of our dear friend Carrol Magder & her husband Jeffrey early March 2022. Listed as 10 years but likely 12+. SBC's page owner "lost" his thread so he never was featured in the "safe" album consequently I am unable to link that here. Another rescue stepped up but backed out at the last minute. He couldn't catch a break. Weirdly & bizarrely we took him on a stray medical hold ??? (entered shelter as a stray 2/28/22) but he became officially ours on 3/16/22. Neither story added up so who knows?
Jeffrey & Carrol bent over backward in medical for their little Chuck. After Fluffs & Scruffs, A Dog Rescue initially vetted Chuck with bloodwork, dental & all else, Chuck had to be quarantined until he was better then he began to settle in with his new crew. This precious video was taken the day he decided he didn't want his blankie to be washed so he snagged it out of the laundry room and took it back to bed π!
RIEP Chuck ππ
PUPDATE Casper (Shay from Devore). πΈ
He's a man about town! Yes his bladder is weak and he's on medication for it but that hasn't stopped him from being "bar trained" πππ

PUPDATE VIVIANA CORONA
When Viviana came back from a week in LA she developed some sort of kennel cough ?dog flu ? which was antibiotic resistant. The hacking was awful to listen to and went on for weeks.
Thing is we vaccinated for the Dog Flu before she went to LA and was only in the yard there supervised with no contact with other dogs. No one at home was sick before she left. π€·ββοΈ Dr. Sigdestad and I were stymied.
On our 1st recheck we decided to do x-rays on our 2nd recheck because the little wittle 6 pounder is feisty as all get out and she was already stressed from the long wait time.
We had finished our second round of antibiotics by the 3rd visit last Tuesday. To do x-rays she had to be knocked out with propofol for 10 minutes. She was TKO! π©
The x-rays revealed some slight residual bronchitis so she was turning the corner thankfully. πππMeanwhile at home we had 3 getting a slight case which we handled with amoxy, doxy and keycotuss. Thankfully everyone is fine now and Viviana has finally recovered. She now has a friend her age to play with in Audrey. β₯οΈ It's very sweet to watch them start to bond.
We are hoping our little girl from the abandoned house in Santa Ana has calmed enough in these few months to actually become adoptable. She is currently still scared of going out, as are many, fearing being abandoned yet again. She has such a big personality for such a little girl. She now has gained 1 pound and weighs 7.2 ! It's all the chicken, pumpkin, rice and vitamins π
Thanks for your prayers! They are always appreciated.

Video of Vivi and Audrey. Vivi is peaches and cream, Audrey is gray, and black with white paws. Yes there is a big splat of pumpkin on my slipper π.
Pics: in comments. You can't post vids and pics at the same time oddly π

Happy Giving Tuesday! We've all gotten up at 4am to be at Loma Linda Animal Hospital by 6 to join the line. Please πππ for our 3 girls that all of their x-rays are clear so that Chloe can be spayed and have her two largest mammary tumors removed ... also worrried about her lungs (her dental will have to wait), that Audrey her daughter isn't pregnant and can be spayed today and have the tumor removed on her right side and that Viviana' s lungs are clear. We'll need meds for 3 other dogs as well: Gemma, Joey Baby & Lulu who have all caught whatever Viviana has. Yikes. π³ Rescue they said. It'll be fun they said... Please consider supporting us this Giving Tuesday β₯οΈ

FLUFFS & SCRUFFS & The Corona Clan wish everyone a wonderful day and safe travels.
β₯οΈ Blessed Morning to all of us who with God's Grace woke up today to celebrate Thanksgiving. β₯οΈπ¦π§
I am truly blessed and very thankful today for the good and the bad (health journey) as it's ultimately made me stronger in my Faith. π
A very close relative just had a stroke or 3. It was determined they were born with a septal aneurysm and a shunt in the heart. We are so thankful to God for sending the clot to the lower body and not the brain or lungs. Many aren't so lucky. πππ Now we know Dr. DePasquale was right about me. It's genetic. Another reason to celebrate today with my relative and thank God for not taking them from me.
May God richly bless you all.

Video of some of our fosters and permanent dogs. Chloe and her daughter Audrey have just joined us. Chloe has mammary chain masses. Viviana has the dog flu from her visit to LA even though vaccinated and has now given it to my Franchesca Valentina. As Daddy always said: "It's always effing something" π A lot of meds going around and another $$$ vet visit next Monday when things have calmed down at Loma Linda Animal Hospital for surgeries.
Thankful for our dogs and honored to be chosen to be a small part in their journey to their forever homes. Woof Woof πΎπΎπΎπΎπΆπ©
I love the sound & feel of rain. My thoughts are magnified yet crystal clear. May this storm help to heal the sad and weary, nurture our earth & hopefully put out a few of these SoCal fires. π
