Liberate these mothers from a life of enslavement! They are they are r***d, their babies stolen, they are impregnated year after year to make milk for humans. After 7 or 8 years they are spent and killed. This is an absurd and disgusting practice.

Today is International Women's Day. 🩷

Today, we honor and thank the incredible female activists, the campaigners, the investigators, the rescuers and all women who are fighting for a compassionate world for all animals.

On International Women's Day, we acknowledge the countless female animals trapped in exploitative and violent systems. These industries profit from their bodies, their lives, and their reproductive systems. Female animals born into these industries endure unimaginable suffering: the mother cow who is forced to give birth year after year, only to have her calf taken away and her milk sold; the mother pig confined in intensive factory farms, kept in sow stalls and farrowing crates so small she cannot move; the greyhounds and horses used as breeding machines for the gambling industry, and the female dogs and cats treated as nothing more than breeding machines for the pet industry.

The exploitation of women and female animals is rooted in violence, oppression, and the belief that their bodies exist for others’ profit.

Together, we will continue to stand for justice, dignity, and liberation for all. ✊💜

It’s not true that vegans think they are better than everyone else. But I’d imagine that animals think vegans are better than everyone else. 💭

Wanda, now. It's really amazing how far she's come. Her legs are significantly straighter and she can move with ease. She very rarely stops to lay down anymore. She is a very busy girl.

We're hopeful that she will not need any interventions. She will be reevaluated next month.
