Cows are intuitive. There's absolutely no argument against this. I can tell you that they read emotions and they know when any small change occurs. This was from Father's Day and I was trying to get things settled so that I could meet my dad, brother and kids down in Milwaukee. I absolutely believe they know when there's a different energy in the barn, it causes them to change their behavior.

These animals thrive on consistency and generally every single day is the same day for them.

What a wonderful day at VeganMania Milwaukee ! It was quite a steamy day so I was very happy to see so many people come out and brave the heat in order to support the many vegan food vendors and sanctuaries that participated today. A huge shout out to Becky and her crew for making the second annual event even bigger than the first. ✨

We were happy to see some of our old friends and welcome some repeat folks to our booth to purchase vegan cheese and updated Bucky's merchandise. Thank you all, we raised enough for our next hay delivery which is everything! 🐄❤️

We had some delicious food from Snackie Chan and Oh My Cod vegan seafood out of FL. My husband brought me some pickle lemonade. I'm not sure who made that but let me just tell you that was absolutely delicious. 🥒🍋

A big thanks to Drea and Paige for helping with the farm so that we could be away today. They took very excellent care of all of the animals on a very hot day. 🙏🙏

We just brought them in for the evening with some frozen vegetables as treats and they are going to sleep knowing that they are very well loved by us and by you. Thank you ❤️

Hello friends! Please come out to VeganMania Milwaukee tomorrow from 11:00 to 4:00 at Greenfield Park in West Allis. Though it is going to be a particularly steamy day, I know they've taken some precautions to ensure that there are opportunities for folks to cool off. At our booth we will have a cooling area as well as handheld sprayer fans.

As usual, we'll be selling our merchandise and vegan cheese. In addition, we'll be selling coffee, balsamic vinegar and vegan nail polish!

Our vegan cheese flavors are Pesto Sun-dried tomato, Feta Kalamata Olive and Everything Bagel. Stop by for a sample taste and bring some home. They will keep for a week in the fridge and you can also freeze them.

Dairy month is nothing to celebrate. We take something that does not belong to us in order to satisfy our taste buds. This despicable industry leaves so much cruelty in its wake.

Oh my goodness Paige and I got to visit our little baby who's being fostered at Another Chance Ranch . We are so grateful to Eden, Jethro and all their volunteers for helping this little girl get off to a great start. She is one special soul. She's going to be having eye surgery on the 26th to make it more comfortable for her. We'll be putting together some sitting visits so that we can keep her feeling loved and comfortable after surgery. I'll post days and times as we get closer to the date. Until then, keep her in your thoughts and send her love and light so she can continue on her path to a healthy life in sanctuary. 🩷✨🙏

What an amazing day here at the farm. We welcomed our volunteers Miranda, Devin, and Paige, along with a friend of the farm we haven't seen for a while, Olivia. Everyone rolled up their sleeves and got the good work done to keep the babies safe, clean and fed. Of course they got to get some cow kisses too. Thanks for your hard work guys. Appreciate you!

I love how Prancer greets me every morning with her little mouth anticipating her bottle. She's about to be 6 months old and that's when we stop feeding bottles. She just gets one in the am, it's really more for nurture than nutrition at this point. I'm going to miss her being little 🩷🐄

Calves would likely nurse between 10 and 12 months if given the opportunity to be with their mothers.
