Happy Monday all:
Please keep your prayers coming. Ms Margaret had a better day yesterday along with having a couple of special visitors. She has always loved to see friends and visit. Doctors attempted a feeding tube on Friday, but unfortunately x-ray showed it did not entered correctly therefore had to be removed. She will be starting a IV nutrition. Prayers are working and she is feeling them so please keep them coming. She has many animals missing her and waiting on her to come home.

I set this kennel in the back of my pickup for 15 minutes. Temperature outside is 89 degrees. Digital temperature gauge inside kennel was 104 degrees at end of 15 minutes. We pulled a large dog from this kennel in the back of a pickup ...body temp was 104.3 degrees! Please educate through sharing this.

After alot of work we got new pens set up! And again we are full.😞
Our current residents love the new place and have been running around our turn out area!🐩🐶🐕🐶

This is the same for KLAR and we live in a bigger community. With little to no support. Vet bills are over whelming and we have talked about quitting. But it isn't in is to do so. We keep doing what we do for the dogs!

Did you know that we have been working in your community helping with abandoned, neglected or stray pets for over 5 years?

We just didn't have an official name. Now we do and we have our 501(c)(3) Non profit status also.

We are KLAR Arkansas. We have helped low income pet owners with spaying/neutering, vaccinations, flea and tick medication, deworming and providing pet food.

We currently have a small shelter that is housing 15 adult dogs that are available for adoption. We also transport dogs to other states such as Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois and Indiana. These transports are vital to us. It provides a chance for a dog or cat to find their forever home. The animals we have rescued come from Cedarville, Kibler, Natural Dam and Van Buren.

Now we are in need of our communities help. We need pay our Veterinarian bill down so that we may continue to help the community with their pet needs.

It's transport weekend! We had 11 puppies and 1 adult dog selected to go!
Boy is it cold up here! 36* according to the van and the wind is blowing but the roads are clear!

Sadly there is a gentleman giving puppies away at the Van Buren Walmart.
If you get one do t forget to spay or neuter and vaccinate your pup.
