No matter how many times hatch day comes the excitement is always like the first time. This time my sister is getting to experience and learn how to hatch out babies from my eggs. She faced timed me this morning and was so excited to show me them! Pictures comming soon. Babies should be available in the next couple days ♥️♥️

I do not often vent on Facebook but I feel today it may be necessary as I’m completely disgusted that this is allowed to continue. Every other day I am being tagged in a scammers post claiming that if I do not click the link they provide in their goofy Facebook post that my page will be deleted as I’m “in violation of something or another” and everyday I block the page who tagged me. However they just make a new page or so I thought. I decided to be proactive and just block any page that had the System Ai name never thinking there would be 100s possibly 1000s of them. I just cannot believe that Facebook allows this to continue and I’m completely disgusted by it. So now I am going to be spending hours of my day blocking these scammers and will likely end up in Facebook jail on my LEGITIMATE page from blocking too many scammers pages. If your page or regular facebook is ever tagged in one of these posts do not ever click the link they provide and be aware that if you were in any kind of violation that Facebook/meta would not be tagging you in a post at all. A second video will be in the comments as it will not let me add more than one video to this post.

Colors that can hatch are - chocolate, mauve , chocolate paints, blue , black and paint. These chicks will be able to be s*xed at hatch by their coloring. Silkie feathering only with chance of showgirls.

1 dozen plus extras Buff hatching orbs. 🧡
Silkie and satin feathering. Chance of showgirls and chance of frizzle.

Unfortunately we had a run in with a fox while awaiting supplies to reinforce my buff pen so showgirls will not be available from this pen after these are gone. So if you want a buff showgirl from my girls this will be your last opportunity.

I also have some regular chocolate hatching orbs and a few paint but not enough to make a full dozen.

I’m done hatching for the year and hopefully will be starting up again end of February / beginning of march as long as the girls cooperate. For now they will be enjoying a much needed break. These girls and boys who hatched this past march will be added to the breeding pens for this comming spring. I will potentially be adding another s*x linked pen as well so I’m looking forward to what we’ll have to offer offspring wise next year!!

Check out the glow up on my adorable little paint girl that hatched at the end of march! 😍😍I am SOO glad I kept her even though she’s non bearded. Lots of people hate on non bearded silkies and want no parts of them but this little lady right here is proof they can be absolutely gorgeous and worth keeping around! She still isn’t done filling in and I can’t wait to see what she will look like when she’s fully grown!😍🥰🥰 So glad I gave her a chance! ❤️ Name ideas would be great!!

🚨laying hens🚨

I’m making room for all the new blood I brought in from some amazing breeders as well as some grow outs from my own line that I kept for next seasons breeding pens! To do so I will have to let a few roosters and some laying hens go. Some are from my own lines but most are not. When we discuss them i will state the reasons I do not wish to use or continue to use them in my program. Age, flaws if any , photos of offspring if applicable , temperament etc will all be discussed . I will send photos to those who message who are interested.

*They absolutely will not be cheap so if you aren’t prepared for laying hen prices please do not waste both our time messaging about them. I am not a hatchery. I have put tons of time and money into my birds and will not let them go for hatchery prices .*

These 3 adorable little fluffs went off to their new home today with some of the coolest ladies. 😍 I’ve said it before but one of the coolest things about sharing my babies and love for this breed is the super cool people I get to meet and when I’m really lucky those people become the most amazing friends. Anna Louise Simoes and Michele Yurik Simoes was definitely so cool meeting you guys today and I wish you all the luck on your new adventure!! I’m so happy I left it up to fate and brought the little buff baby with me today. I love how much you love it already ❤️

Had a great hatch of course there is so many absolutely adorable babies that I want to keep! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don’t know why I do this to myself. 😂 Anywhoo heres just a few fluffs that caught my eye. I’m obsessed with the little paints b***y! More pics of the hatch to come tomorrow.

Would love to know how you get birds to cooperate during photo shoots ? 😂 I see all these amazing pictures on breeders pages and I just wonder if their camera roll houses 13,489 photos like mine does because of the absolute shenanigans that is taking pictures of the birds. Tell me your secrets 😭🥴 because It’s like herding cats!
