This evening we are happy and sad.

Happy because Bryce finally gets to go live at home with his mom and family! They have been working hard to setup a spot for him on their farm 😊💕!

Sad because we will miss having him and his family here on our farm! Bryce just hit his one year anniversary earlier this week! It has been such a honor to help him recovery from his injury over the last year and see him go from full stall rest to full pasture turn out with friends 🥰🐴! Plus see him thrive on a full forge diet, which his mom is continuing!

We can’t wait to see him all settled in at home and continue to cheer him and his mom on!

Giving Koko time, choice, and allowing him to communicate has transformed him from a closed off disconnected horse to the curious, present, loving, and willing to try boy he is today. When we first met him I saw who he was behind the defensiveness and trauma, and wanted to help him! Today he is a solid member of my herd and very connected to me, my husband, and his herd mates! I am so grateful he has chosen to open up to us, connect, trust, and try!
