Cook with us! We had a little fun over our extra long Christmas break making beef jerky. This batch ended up delicious and very salty… but I think that’s just part of having kids in charge of the seasoning! Worth it!

Plus a look at how I’m using my favorite “meal prep” strategy. During my pregnancy nesting phase I browned and froze 30# of Savannah’s Farm Fresh ground beef. Now I have a cooked protein ready to go in minutes.
I also roasted and froze these tomatoes last summer… but in true rookie cooking fashion I didn’t have enough sauce after adding the noodles so I mixed some Prego in from Sam’s Club. Still felt like almost cooking from scratch to me 😂
