We wanted to take a moment to talk about our work. This is Cocoa. Cocoa came to us after his owner had a stroke. His stroke was pretty severe and he died a few weeks later. His owner's family couldn't care for him and had brought him to the rescue. Cocoa is an older yorkie mix. We had him evaluated by our vet. He has end stage liver disease and is now in our fospice program.
We are one of the few rescues that does sanctuary and fospice. This work takes a village and vets and fosters who are expert at making sure these animals have comfortable lives. Most rescues are all about the adoption fee. Vetting isn't as important. Animals are adopted out without neutering or spay procedures. We are different. We think that's important.
We would appreciate your support. Share our fundraisers with your friends and family. Share our adoptable animals. Donate your gently used items to us for our flea market tables. If you're a crafter, donate your crafts that we then sell to help support the rescue. And if you can, please donate to us. We are a 501c3 registered charity and all donations of goods and money are tax deductible.
