Max here! Foster Mamma took me for a car ride this morning. I LOVE car rides. Then I found out where we were going…. Not cool FM, not cool.

She says I need my teefs cleaned. My teefs is fine! See!

I told everyone at that place how she didn’t feed me this morning and tried to refuse to go back in that room.

Pray for me and my teefs. Maybe I’ll get a burger on the way home.

I was so happy when Mamma took me for a car ride today! I got to spend the day with her without any of the others.

It started out awesome, then scary, then boring, then WT*? It was really cool hanging out with Mamma and Jean this morning. I didn’t like all the noise and flashy lights in the tunnel called a car wash. We went to another office and Mamma did something called bookkeeping (that was boring). Then she took me to….

The Vet! How dare she! Dr. B put that thing…. I can’t even say where it went! The indignity of it all! Anyway, all that to up my meds to keep me spunky.

It was a long day and I missed my after breakfast nap and my mid morning nap. I did nap a little during the boring bookkeeping. Missed my afternoon nap. So after the vet, I crashed in the car on the way home.

I love spending time with MY Mamma, next time, let’s skip the vet.

And… don’t get any ideas… I’m already adopted. She is MY forever Mamma!

Today’s cuteness is brought to you by Max! Just look at those ears! Looks like a house elf from our favorite movie series.

Max isn’t interested in clothing to be free. He wants to be your Velcro buddy and stick by you throughout your day. He’ll snuggle up beside you while you watch tv. You’ll never sleep alone or go to the bathroom by yourself. He’s full of love and wants to share it with you.

This little guy was loved very much and came to us after his person could no longer care for him. Max knows his name is comes right back when called.

Trey is all ready for the 4th with his crooked tie. Please be calm, quiet, and safe this weekend. I’m blind, not deaf and the fireworks upset me. Mamma says we’ll spend the evening at home with some treats and the tv turned up to drown out any extra noise.

Trey was adopted from Angels of Assisi in Roanoke almost 15 years ago. He is Mamma’s very loved big ol’ goober.

Bunny and Trixie enjoying some outside time this morning before it gets hot. Stay hydrated and keep cool.

Both Bunny and Trixie are available for adoption through Lost Fantasy Rescue.

Bunny is sassy and has overcome several medical issues. She has chronic ear infections and needs drops weekly. We are working on some itching and paw licking. She needs to be fed separate from other dogs. Bunny isn’t clingy. She likes to wander and roll in the yard and prefers to be under a piece of furniture inside. She’s come along way since being found as a stray and getting the medical attention she needed has made the difference.

Trixie is a sweet senior that was well loved by her owner and came to us after being unable to take care of her anymore. She just wants a soft spot to lie beside you and some love. She’ll be happy to binge watch your favorite show and snuggle in your bed.

The greatest gift is love.

Bunny had a spa day yesterday. She was a little spicy, but Kim and Kevin worked their magic! Her fur is so soft and she feels so much better! Tail wagging and asking for pets this morning!

Bunny is available for adoption. She’s an independent soul that just wants a yard and a cool place to rest.

Once in a while the stars align and create the perfect situation. When longtime friends and supporters of the rescue reach out about our newest rescue, you set up and meet n greet. Marmalade has made herself at home so easily! Watching TV with her new dad and playing with toys!

This ending is the best new beginning that we pray for with every adoption. Marmalade was not doing well in the shelter environment and was actually considered unadoptable. Getting her into a foster home gave her the opportunity to decompress and be the sweet, loving soul she actually is. Hitting the jackpot of a forever home so soon after going to foster is what we all dream of.

This is why I foster.

I love every single one of the souls in my care. Yes, I miss them when they leave, but I know they are going to the best possible forever home. It opens up room for me to help another soul.

Today’s adventure? Let’s take 3 dogs to the vet at the same time! It sounded good in my head. One trip, one visit, get’er done! The logistics of loading them all in the car, unloading, and reloading to come home. Not to mention we were there almost 2 hours (actually not long for 3 dogs, nail trims, and bloodwork).

Max talked to everyone! Loudly!

Rocky succeeded in chewing me up and spitting me out. (You really don’t want to see under the bandage.)

Bunny was the best girl! She likes to hide under the table in her safe space. She has come so far and is feeling so much better.

So, nails trimmed, bloodwork drawn, itch meds prescribed, and back home. We are all exhausted.

One day I’ll learn that multiple individual visits are better than multiple dogs in one visit…. Maybe 🤔
