Misfit Critters is a small business run and operated by two sisters. We creat crafty things of all kinds. You dream it, we creat it. It was a great experience!

Misfit Critters is a small business run and operated by two sisters. Our goal is to produce safe and reliable products designed for small animals such as Sugar Gliders, Rats, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, and Ferrets. Some products are created sp

ecially for little critters with special needs. Having been sewing for almost 10 years we are experienced and create all of our products from our own design and patterns. We came up with the name Misfit Critters because a lot of our own critters are special needs. We wanted to reach out and help those who also have some with special needs. We at Misfit Critters would like to thank you for your purchase. As the adoptive parents of multiple rescues and special needs pets we place our and your pets safety above all else. Rescues are very important to us and we do everything we can to help support them. Donations have been sent to some and we want to help promote rescuing animals. If you are a rescue and would like us to promote your rescue please send us a message with your information and we will post a link on our page. We currently offer the following items:

We have a signature item that is currently in the process of getting patented/copyrighted

We do custom orders so throw ideas at us and we will work with you to create your item(s). We also carry pre-made sets from time to time so keep checking in to see whats new. Around the holidays we offer some holiday themed accessories as supplies last. If you have any questions feel free to ask :)

We are a small business run and operated by two sisters, located in Chandler, Arizona
And were recently featured on fox 10 Phoenix

Our masks are $10 each and resemble the Olson style mask. It is a more dome shaped mask and has a space sewn into the sides to allow you to place the elastic either around your head and neck, or around your ears. The elastic is removable should you ever need to replace or adjust it.

Our masks come in a variety of sizes:

Small (recommend for children age 3 to 9ish)
Medium (recommended for 9ish to petite teens)
Large (recommended for adult to plus size adult)
Extra Large (for anyone who has a larger than average head or wider face)

There is a pocket so a filter can be placed inside. PLEASE NOTE: We do not supply the filter. If you need more information regarding filters I'd be happy to tell you what we know.

The masks have a bendable coated wire sewn into it so you can shape it for a more secure fit and it also prevents glasses from fogging up. DO NOT MICROWAVE YOUR MASK.

We are happy to send examples of anything you need clarification on and we do have posts on our fb page Misfit Critters to show examples of how the masks look and fit. Please also check out and or leave a review.

Local pick up is also available BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Betty Boop was our 2nd doll, which is where we started freelancing the body shape. The legs are the only part of the original pattern. Everything else was freehanded.

This Doll was made for a little girl who loves the color purple. She was the original body base we started with and has no changes by us to the body. Her dress had some changes to the pattern and her hair was free handed.

Jessica Rabbit was one of the Christmas projects I was particularly pleased with how it turned out. Her hair, outfit, and most of her body were free handed (no pattern). We learned a lot while making her, particularly the structure of stitches, where increasing and decreasing in certain parts will create a body shape. It also inspired us to start making our very own crochet body pattern which is currently in the works.
