We are a small business run and operated by two sisters, located in Chandler, Arizona

Our masks are $10 each and resemble the Olson style mask. It is a more dome shaped mask and has a space sewn into the sides to allow you to place the elastic either around your head and neck, or around your ears. The elastic is removable should you ever need to replace or adjust it.

Our masks come in a variety of sizes:

Small (recommend for children age 3 to 9ish)
Medium (recommended for 9ish to petite teens)
Large (recommended for adult to plus size adult)
Extra Large (for anyone who has a larger than average head or wider face)

There is a pocket so a filter can be placed inside. PLEASE NOTE: We do not supply the filter. If you need more information regarding filters I'd be happy to tell you what we know.

The masks have a bendable coated wire sewn into it so you can shape it for a more secure fit and it also prevents glasses from fogging up. DO NOT MICROWAVE YOUR MASK.

Betty Boop was our 2nd doll, which is where we started freelancing the body shape. The legs are the only part of the original pattern. Everything else was freehanded.

This Doll was made for a little girl who loves the color purple. She was the original body base we started with and has no changes by us to the body. Her dress had some changes to the pattern and her hair was free handed.

Jessica Rabbit was one of the Christmas projects I was particularly pleased with how it turned out. Her hair, outfit, and most of her body were free handed (no pattern). We learned a lot while making her, particularly the structure of stitches, where increasing and decreasing in certain parts will create a body shape. It also inspired us to start making our very own crochet body pattern which is currently in the works.

To all of our awesome customers who have received masks from us already

Who ever is able to, could you please send us photos of your masks? I'll post photos as an example. We would like a front and side view. We have been working so hard to quickly get masks out that we took very few photos of completed masks.

We make every possible effort to contact customers when their order is complete 😊 if orders are not paid for and we have left voicemails, fb messages, IG messages, texts, etc and we receive either no reply at all or you look at our messages but send us no reply for over a week then orders will be either put up for sale or donated to our local hospitals.

We have been doing all of this to help others. We have made tons of donation masks. Working 10 hour days. It feels like such a slap in the face when we complete an order and blatantly are ignored. When we accept orders as cash at pickup that means we are using our time money and materials in good Faith that people will honor their order. We never even require a deposit. For two weeks we have been trying to get ahold of customers, asking when they would like to pick up their orders.
But we have a very large order someone place and will not answer our messages, or phone calls. We are out that $100.
And now we just had another person finally get back to us saying they no longer need their order. It's been completed for a week, again a cash at pickup order so out that money time and materials again.
So disheartening.

We make masks because your life is worth our time!
We were up until nearly 2am last night sewing orders. Thank you to our customers for your patience as we work hard to catch up on the large number of orders that were placed on the day we were featured on fox 10 Phoenix. Rest assured we are working 6 days a week, 10 hour days to make sure everyone gets their masks in a timely manner. Today we want to feature some of our awesome customer photos, showing off their Misfit Critters face masks! You all look amazing in them! Thank you for supporting small local business and thank you to everyone who is waiting for their mask still for their understanding and patience!

I'm sure when we tell people that we are currently at around 2 weeks for a turn around time, some people must feel puzzled as to why their order of just a few masks could possibly take so long. I assure you we are working very hard to help get masks out to everyone as quickly as possible. My sister and I are the two seamstresses, but we also each have a platform we do our best to manage orders on, fb, email, and IG. However our family and friends have been so helpful and supportive! We have a couple of very dear friends who have jumped in, one went on a long wild goose chase hunting down fabric for us since we are running low. And the other has been amazing at helping us get more organized and helping get our social media back under control. Our husbands now cut the orders and do nose pieces (measure, cut, bend, grind them down, and twist them). Our father does the shipping and helps by jumping around wherever is needed. Our mom does cutting, problem solving, PR work, all the book keeping, transfers orders to the cutting station, and is a huge help with the kids. On top of all of this, we have three little kids to take care of, one of which has special needs. So this has become a bug family operation and we wouldn't be able to do it all with out the help of our family and friends, and the patience and understanding of our customers. Thank you all so much.
Today was a busy day, we got a page of orders done (we try to do a page a day), and we have so many orders now cut and ready to sew. I took a photo for perspective.

We have received quite a few nasty messages, we understand that longer than normal wait times are an inconvenience, we truly apologize for that! As we said, we are a team of just two people, we are working as quickly as possible. We started this so that we would be able to provide those in need with masks.
Due to an overwhelming amount of orders we are out of premade donation masks. We have answered hundreds of messages today, which does also take from our sewing time. We will continue to respond to people as soon as we can.
We have also decided that the need for masks in a high volume outweighs the need for masks in fancy fabric options. We will be producing black masks in a large quantity.
If you would rather wait for a different color or pattern option please understand that will take longer than an all black mask.
This will also make it possible for us to make more donation masks.

We are doing the best we can. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
We are placing orders as they come in and responding to messages in the order they came in.
