ANIMAL LOVERS OF CHANDLER (FACEBOOK COMMUNITY)

We are a group of Chandler-based volunteers who are dedicated to reuniting Chandler pet owners with their lost pets and reducing the number of Chandler dogs and cats that end up in the Maricopa County animal shelters. Our mission is to educate the public about the importance of properly identifying their companion animals with ID tags and microchips

and to provide advice and assistance to the owners and finders of lost pets in Chandler. Our activities include:

•Collecting donations of gently used and new collars, harnesses, and leashes to be provided to pet owners in need


•Providing free ID tags to pet owners to encourage up-to-date pet identification


•Promoting low-cost spay/neuter and micro chipping events


•Supporting the adoption of humane animal welfare laws in our community
