Announcement:
It is with great pride that I announce the passing of the ranch to a new owner. This page will list the ranch as permanently closed but I assure you it is not. The new owner is someone I have known for years, and who I know will do great things with this place. I wish them all the luck in the world.
Thank you to everyone who supported the ranch over the years. My chapter in NM/TX has officially come to an end and it’s on to new adventures.

Announcement:
Some changes coming to the ranch! We will be allowing people to ship in and ride in our arena starting January 1, 2022. There will be a charge of $5 per rider to be paid in cash. Hours will be restricted to ensure that there is a ranch affiliated person present.
730am-1130am
3pm- dark
You must schedule with me to ride in the arena so there aren’t too many people at once and so our boarders have first rights.
We have barrels, ground poles and jumps. We DO NOT allow full speed barrels in the arena, this is a practice arena.
All riders will sign a waiver that will be kept on file.

Feed room, tack room, wash rack, round pen, and large riding arena with accessories in a family friendly environment! Access to miles and miles of riding trails, some you can ride to right from the property and others are just a very short drive away. Double fenced and double gated. Beautiful views and a low traffic area.

Balanced riding keeps everyone happy
"To help you understand what the horse feels when you sit crookedly in the saddle, load a wheelbarrow heavily to one side as in the center illustration. Now push the wheelbarrow, and feel how it pulls to the weighted side and how you are forced to lean in that direction to compensate. That’s how your horse feels when you sit unevenly in the saddle, as shown in the left image. For those of you interested, the Anthony Rodeo Club will start their 2021 season this weekend, Sunday January 17 at 8am. Events are held at Landmark Mercantile in the Armstrong Equine Sports Arena!

We have several horse stalls available in quiet Chaparral NM. The outdoor is extra large and could easily fit 2 horses. Approx 30x30 with a run in. The indoor stall is a nice cozy 12x12 in the middle of the barn with its own light inside and a plug for a fan in the summer. Alfalfa hay and twice a day feeding included, owner provides grain, cleans their own stall and provides pelleted bedding as needed. Full care service is also available. Wash stall, arena, round pen, tack room, and feed room are just some of the amenities we offer. Farrier, vet and dental services available, along with riding lessons and training. Access to miles of trails, trailer parking, and management lives on site.
