We’ll resume our regular hours (7 AM – 7 PM) the days before and after these holidays, ensuring your pups are cared for as usual. While we’re closed to clients on Christmas and New Year’s Day, rest assured our dedicated team will still be onsite to care for all boarding dogs.

As our Wednesday comes to an end and we prepare for the last day of our conference, I want to take a moment to share my absolute GRATITUDE. I am so grateful for this Lodge family I have become a part of. From the amazing pups we get to bond with, to the fantastic families that we get to form incredible relationships with, to the wonderful people I am so fortunate to get to work with each and every day, to the owners of our company that have created this magical place for dogs, people, and employees. I just don't think "thank you" is enough.

Before joining the team with Green Beagle, I struggled to find a pet care company that aligned with the important values of properly caring for dogs and cats. One that prioritized the safety of pets, the experience that a pet parent has when leaving their fur child, the education of staff, and the quality of their facilities - from build to maintenance to cleanliness. I sit back in awe to hear Jenna, our pet care manager from Pittsboro and first time attendee, have the same epiphany about how North Carolina is one of, if not the most, regulated states in the country; which is something that the Lodge takes seriously in every facet of their business. We attend these seminars and learn about all of the amazing things going on in our industry, but oftentimes, we know that Green Beagle is doing these things in some way, shape, or form already.

I am reminded every day by each and every one of yall that follow along with social media and visit our Lodges multiple times per week that we are more than just a business providing a service. We are a network. We are a resource. We are a family. We are there when life happens and you need someone trusted to care for your four legged family member. I am elated to see a group of pet loving people that believe so strongly in the Lodge the way that I do each day I come to work.

Thank you to everyone following along and interacting. I am so glad I am able to share this experience with you all! Tomorrow we finish this expo strong 💪 I can't wait to dissect all of my notes on Friday 😎 and get back to see all my puppy dog friends at Pittsboro 🥹

What a fantastic first day of seminars 🤩 We had 3 seminars that took deep dives into enrichment, safer playgroups, proper leadership, and healthy finances 🙌 we got to see some familiar faces in the speakers, and some new leaders speaking about their ideas and success!

We had a BUSY day and are still stewing in all the information and thinking about the new ideas we can take back. We are amazed that even though we are one of the more senior businesses in attendance, we are still taking back info about how our industry is evolving. We love being able to share our knowledge with other attendees, and always talk about how NC is one of the most regulated states in the country!

We are eager to see all the things the trade show has to offer tomorrow, and are getting ready for another great day of seminars 😁

We arrived safely today to Hershey, PA to attend the Pet Boarding & Daycare expo! We had a great (7 hour!) car ride discussing all the things we want to accomplish before 2025 and the goals we want to set for the new year 🤞

We attended another great key note speech 💪 that inspired us about crushing the box instead of simply thinking outside of it 🤩 We are all pumped to continue adding tools to our boxes of leadership and innovation. I can't wait to bring back tons of ideas and inspiration to continue the great work that we do on a daily basis at the Lodge!!

We learned that we rank in the top 4% for providers in our industry 🙌 and got lots of affirmation about all that we do to continue being the best that we can be. I can't wait to check back in with yall tomorrow to recap our first day jam packed with seminars!!

Who remembers the highlights from last year's trip to the Pet Boarding and Daycare expo in Pennsylvania?! 🎓

Well, get ready again, cause here we come Hershey!! 😎 If you followed along last year, you may recognize my face, but for those of you that don't... Hi! I'm Emily, the General Manager for the Lodge in Pittsboro 👋 I am graciously being allowed to take over the GBL social media pages again tomorrow as we emBARK on a four day trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania to attend the Pet Boarding and Daycare Expo hosted by Barkleigh ! Tagging along with me again this year is David (Operations Manager), Tara (Head Trainer at Chapel Hill), and a first-time attendee, Jenna (Pet Care Manager at Pittsboro)!

I feel very fortunate to get the opportunity to document this experience, and to show how much GBL invests not only in its employees but also in the continued improvement of our policies and procedures! I love working for a team that is so dedicated to being an industry leader in the best care and handling of your pups. I cannot wait for all the fun ideas & inspiration we get from the many great speakers & showcases!

I promise I won't interrupt the regularly scheduled content of your beloved pups (aren't our photographers fantastic?!), but do hope you all check in and join me on this journey!
