Valentina & Tracking Gold were in the crossrail hunter division and wound up with some lovely rounds and ribbons! 🥳

Makenna & Easton ventured into the Hunter Ring to compete in the 2’3 non-pro where they ribboned and also did their first Derby, making the call back and finishing 8th out of a large field! They also had a successful outing in one of the .85 jumper rounds! 🥳

Megan & Easton competed in the .85 Intermediate Adult Amateur and received a 2nd and 6th in their classes. They also tried something new in the Low Adult Equitation division! 🥳

Mikaela & In Your Dreams won a couple classes in the .85 Intermediate Junior Jumper as well as great rounds in the Open .85. They ultimately received Reserve Champion in the .85 Junior Jumper division! 🥳

Alyssa competed both Bellamy and Tracking Gold. Bellamy moved up to the .85 Jumpers and also finished 5th in the .95 Gambler’s Choice! Tracking Gold ribboned in his first time in the 2’6” Thoroughbred Hunter division, competed in his first 2’6” Derby, and got a 3rd in his .65 class- working his way into being a multi-ring horse! 🥳

Congratulations to everyone on such a successful outing! We are truly fortunate to have the best group of clients who are always willing to cheer each other on and lend a helping hand. The horses all had a well deserved post-show vacation and we are looking forward to getting back to it! 💜🦄

Rainy but productive day at Chagrin Valley Farms for the jumper show!

🥳 Emily and Onyx had some of their best rounds to date! They recently moved up to the 2’3” and a small oops on the timer line for the jump off kept them out of the big ribbons, but the progress from these two is fantastic!

🦄 Quinn and Duncan were Reserve Champion in the 2’3-2’6” with three awesome rounds in the rain!

🏆 Mikaela won all 3 of her classes (2 in the 2’6” and 1 in the 2’9”) and was Reserve Champion in the 2’6” novice jumper division as well as winning her first ever 2’9” class!

Extra congrats for series end awards 🥇🏆:
Quinn & Legacy’s Traveler champion 2’3-2’6”
Mikaela & In Your Dreams champion 2’6” novice
Alyssa & Bellamy champion 2’6” open

Another weekend, another horse show!

This one was a bit chilly and very wet, but none of the horses or riders seemed to mind all that much! Thank you Chagrin Valley Farms for another beautiful event! The fences were decorated so nicely, the course was a good challenge, and everyone kept things running efficiently!

Highlights:
Finn rode in the Open Starter Division for his first time. He jumped double clear and ended up second! He got braver as he went and really game as cross country went on… he did remind me that he used to be a turf horse 😂

We had the spots 1, 2, and 3 in the Starter Rider after dressage and stadium! 🥇🥈🥉
- Makenna took her role as Velma a little too seriously and couldn’t find her next jump 😉 should have known something was off when she arrived with her number upside down lol. Despite their elimination cross country, Easton and Makenna scored a 26 in the dressage which was the best score we saw all day 🥳
- Mikaela and Dreamy the Dragon were sitting second after dressage and stadium. They rode a beautiful starter test and had a really smooth stadium round! However, a little slip in the rainy grass caused a run out and they bumped down after cross country. They still managed a 7th place finish out of a large field!
- Last, but certainly not least, Quinn and Duncan the Pumpkin absolutely rocked it! They went double clear to finish on their dressage score and finished 1st 🏆 in a large class at their second attempt at the Starter level!

All these girls rode awesome today and the focus on dressage this summer seems to have really paid off! Looking forward to more mini trials next year with hopefully a little more sunshine ☀️ not too many photos to share as everyone’s fingers were frozen 😂
