Scout had to have another surgery last Friday... 3rd surgery in his 2 short years. He is a ZOOMER... and if you have one, you know how much they ❤❤❤ to run and play! This one was to remove the plate and pins... after 3 months, he still wasn't putting any weight on the leg even though the break was healed. He has another 6 weeks of restriction, but hopefully he will be back to his adventures, zoomies and hanging out with friends at the dog park soon!

As you know, we recently said goodbye to our precious Jackie Leggs... may she forever run wild and free.
We believe Sir Henry is mourning her too... they have been together his whole life... which brings me to the celebration of his 9th Birthday next week! 🎉 We're thinking about having a party! Who here has throw a BIRFDAY PAWTY for they're furbaby?
And let's not leave out Scout the Sheepadoodle. He celebrated his 2nd Birthday on St. Paddy's Day. He is the most amazing pupperoo I have ever seen.. he has had both front legs broken (right at 10 months and currently recovering from left.) But, that has not stopped this young whippersnapper! He is super eager to get back to the dog park where he can do his zoomies and splash around in the lake!
I truly don't know what LIFE would be like without our FUREVER FRIENDS.
Thank you God for blessing us with our furbabies.

This is Poogan my precious pup we had for 17 years. He showed up on my parent's fenced in, 20+ step deck while Tim & I were on our honeymoon. They put him back in the front yard to go home and the next day he was back up on the deck! This routine happened all throughout the week. We never figured out how he was even getting into the fenced back yard, but he was determined!

I had said I wanted a little fluffy white dog, and when we got back I saw this matted brown mess of a little critter that apparently needed a home. I bathed him and cleaned him up nicely and low & behold, he was exactly the pup I wanted!!! We tried to find his owners, but no one claimed him. Thank goodness, because I knew he was to be ours from the moment I saw him!

Turns out, he was a full-blooded Lhasa Apso. We named him Poogan after our favorite restaurant in Charleston (we ate there 3 times in 1 day, lunch, dinner & back for desert & drinks!), Poogan's Porch, which was named after a dog that would not leave when the owner's abandoned him and the house was being converted into a restaurant. Did you see the full circle there!!!

Poogan led a very full life and was truly adored by all the family! This was his favorite stance... SITTIN' PRETTY... when waiting on his treat!

Hello my friends! Just wanted to show you what I was up to over Christmas. Most of you know I recently started my new business, PawpArt Pets where I transform photos of your precious furbabies into art... "pawp" art, fun & colorful art, that is!

One of the things I put out there were Gallery Wrapped Canvases that can be PRINTED or TEXTURIZED. Well, I sold 4 TEXTURIZED and have you ever had that moment where everything looks just like you want it to... in your head, but in reality it's a HARD NO??? PINTEREST FAIL, anyone!!! Well, that was me on the Saturday before Christmas and I had 4 (11x14, 12x16, 16x20, 24x36) to get out as promised!!!

So, what do you do when you're in this situation... you start your "AMAZING RACE" mantra (I actually slow my breathing, pretend I'm in the Amazing Race, think about how I am going to overcome, dig in and GET IT DONE!!! )

Since, the TEXTURIZING didn't work out as I visualized I decided to PAINT all 4! I channeled my love of Sips & Strokes / Painting with a Twist and truly astonished myself! I can't wait to see where I go from here!
