In Memory of Freddie
May 2007 – May 29, 2022
Born in Beebe, Arkansas in May 2007, Freddie,
and his brother Mason was abandoned at 4
weeks old. He was adopted at 12 weeks old and
moved to Westport, Connecticut. Freddie was
very active, chasing deer’s, playing with his
friends at the dog park, and welcoming many of
his lady friends to play in his big backyard. He
loved to play his version of fetch, throwing the
ball under the couch, and having his mother
retrieve. He enjoyed watching TV, barking at all
the doggie’s commercials, and he could name
the ‘beggin strips” commercials in one note.
Freddie bonded with his sister (Lora)
immediately when she joined the household in
July 2011, and he taught her the rules of the
house. He would tattle on her if she had an
accident in the house, and he let her know that she could only p**p in the
pachysandras. During the annual Christmas card photos, he informed her to sit and
stay, to get the “experience” over as quickly as possible.
He enjoyed being the alpha dog, bullying his sister, but also looking for her support
during vet’s appointments. They were always together, both refusing to go anywhere
without the other. Lora is taking his death very hard; she is literally crying!
Freddie enjoyed getting dressed up and was the prefect model for Fred’s Fashions &
Designs. He refused to go out in the rain, without a raincoat. Jealousy would get the
better of him, when his sister was dressed-up, ripping the clothes off her.
Freddie was known to be a ladies’ man, enjoying only female companionship, and
bullying all the males’ dogs. He was a love muffin, wanting affection continuously as he
was a 70 pounds lapdog.
My little boy will be greatly missed, and forever loved.
