Hey guys just wanted to thank everyone for sticking with us. It's been a rough go at it recently I know we died off. I lost my dad and kinda sat down on life but time to get up and make him proud there are too many Wildlings in need of help!

Hey you guys!!!
Baby season in full swing here , please remember to drive slow check for babies and hug a rehabber. This has been a eventful years at Pitter patter legends wildlife rehab and rescue we managed to find almost three acres of land ! Which has been a huge step for us, we have been working around the clock trying to get settled in and set up as well as attempting to adjust to a whole new increased budget and animals in need we can't just shut our doors too. So we are doing a all call and open a fund riser. Rehabbing has always been a expensive endeavour but with the price of liking raising it's been doubly so. I've seen so many bow out bc it's become so expensive to survive and rehab. If anyone finds the self in the position that the can help drop a line to ur locate rehabs. We have Venmo cash app and PayPal any help is a huge help if everyone donates dollar we will have some very relieved rehabbers. We are becoming a dying breed. Syringes cages formula supplies vet bills etc it's a bit overwhelming the list of cost that build. Thanks for caring about the babies we care so much about and for helping us help them!

Please slow down and watch out for wildlife.
Late night call, from a kind old man,
He found you in the road, got there as fast as I can
It didnt matter though, because it was too late
A speeding driver that night, had decided your fate
They didn’t stop, nor did they care-
When they rode over you, just leaving you there.
People watched as I held you, as if you were mine
There in the officers headlights we were frozen in time.
In that very moment I saw they felt too,
That you weren’t the menace people thought of you.
A life is a life, no matter what kind.
When they saw you that way, I think they changed their minds.
A one way trip, I knew it would be.
Thank God for my friends, who were there for me.
They were on the phone, as I was by your side
And like the grim reaper, I did the drive.
I hate one way trips, it hurts me to know-
that you’d still be here, if they’d only drive slow.
I hope you have friends that are as good as mine,
Who will meet you and greet you on the other side
Where people are kind, and you’ll never have to fear
Over the rainbow bridge, it is nothing like here-
So rest your sweet head and just close your eyes
While you drift off slowly on this one way ride.

god shot here but any chance any want wants to help out with the cost a desieal so I can drive 30 minutes to get a hurt baby squirrel with. Fbroken foot. As it sits y truck can't make it there and back so I'm appealing to anyone that can hear me for formula and help with fuel to get there lol leaving with finder is not a option! Message us

Seems like a great way to raise money for the rehab !?! One where.nobody has to spend money?but I need people to click on and sign up. Shrug here goes nothing guy...So for every time someone new click this link I get 2$ for everytime someone signs up I get 20 u get 25$ t legit.only took like less then two mins to sign up. Anyone care to help me out? Even if u never sign in again can u still sign up? Pweaze!?! To cash out for the first time u have to have have 10 people sign up on I'm at 3

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD - if you see these white things on an animal it is in trouble and needs immediate help!

These are fly eggs and will hatch in less than 24 hours. Once they do, maggots will wreak havoc on the poor animal they are attached to. Every animal we have received this week has had these.

Flies lay their eggs on animals they sense to be dying so their larva can feast on it. Because they tend to lay 150 at a time, it doesn’t take long for freshly hatched larva to cause severe damage to the host.

If you see these on an animal, don’t wait to call someone. They need help IMMEDIATELY. Please call your local wildlife rehabilitator.

This little gray squirrel came in with two of his siblings last night. All of them were covered in these eggs. Luckily none had hatched yet and we were able to get them all off. All are doing well today.

Let’s spread the word to prevent as much suffering as possible. Knowledge is power and the more we know the more we can help.

Hey you guys! So one of our residents pandemonium or resident coonie was attacked while out roaming and she showed up last night after two mights out side which she does offen as she love the tree right by the rehab camper. Well she came home to lick her wounds with a severally broken front paw in is going to require a vet trip. Per usual the. emwas not bidged. She has been dosed with gabibentin over the phone by vet but is in immense pain and needs to be seen by a vet. I say all of that to say this I can't figure out how to open a fundraiser on Facebook so I'm going to drop my cash app (https://cash.app/$trueloveatitsfinest) and venmo ( on venmo) in case anyone finds themselves able to help. Every dollar helps our baby.

My dad has bees.Today I went to his house and he showed me all of the honey he had gotten from the hives. He took the lid off of a 5 gallon bucket full of honey and on top of the honey there were 3 little bees, struggling. They were covered in sticky honey and drowning. I asked him if we could help them and he said he was sure they wouldn't survive. Casualties of honey collection I suppose.
I asked him again if we could at least get them out and kill them quickly, after all he was the one who taught me to put a suffering animal (or bug) out of its misery. He finally conceded and scooped the bees out of the bucket. He put them in an empty Chobani yogurt container and put the plastic container outside.
Because he had disrupted the hive with the earlier honey collection, there were bees flying all over outside.
We put the 3 little bees in the container on a bench and left them to their fate. My dad called me out a little while later to show me what was happening. These three little bees were surrounded by all of their sisters (all of the bees are females) and they were cleaning the sticky nearly dead bees, helping them to get all of the honey off of their bodies. We came back a short time later and there was only one little bee left in the container. She was still being tended to by her sisters.
When it was time for me to leave we checked one last time and all three of the bees had been cleaned off enough to fly away and the container was empty.
Those three little bees lived because they were surrounded by family and friends who would not give up on them, family and friends who refused to let them drown in their own stickiness and resolved to help until the last little bee could be set free.
Bee Sisters. Bee Peers. Bee Teammates.
We could all learn a thing or two from these bees.
