Every dollar raised from now until May 31 will be matched by a generous corporate donor! These funds will go directly towards the critical funding of meals for those individuals who have been added to our program since the COVID-19 pandemic began. We are adding recipients every day, and not turning away! Please act now by helping us help those who cannot help themselves. https://loom.ly/N3sMKP0

Please let us know if you see any issues on the WAG that need to be addressed. Much thanks to Charleston city councilman Bill Moody for his help with the mowing issues as he rides his bike out there all the time.

The WAG Friends Facebook and website have received a number of inquiries regarding the status of the paving project.
UPDATE:
We have been told that asphalt sections will be leveled with dirt and grass to be added to the sides of the asphalt.
In addition, the bollards (those wooden posts) will be replaced with posts that are further apart and, in some cases, removable for events such as the many 5ks that now occur on the greenway.
Stay tuned as we get more info on the water fountains and trashcans for recycling.

Over $1.3 million has been or will be spent to improve the WAG over the next 36 months. Stay tuned for the list thanks to the City of Charleston, PRT, SCDOT, NOAA and many other partners.
