Today I chose to shave my head as it is the only thing I can control right now. My fight with cancer is just beginning but I feel so lucky to have so many people with me on this journey.
I am blessed with good friends and family who love and support me. Enjoy the video we made today and thank you all for the abundance of love.
I have a fundraiser for SSCFWV as my birthday wish. With the donations already made to it and personal ones sent to us we are $43 shy of my goal for $2000. Today is the last day if anyone would like to push it over the top!
After Susie got home from the vet, she told her foster sibling all about it !
Susie update Mon Apr 13
Susie is doing better. She is taking 6 pills a day for her heart and fluid issues. She is still coughing but not as often and not as hard. She had a very good weekend and is keeping her foster mom company in her home office today!
Update she is critical and has been sedated and is on oxygen so they can check heart and lungs.
It seems Susie has taken a turn for the worst overnight. She is on her way to Cross Lanes Vet now to determine the problem and treatment. We think it is possibly CHF due to age and her living conditions before rescue. Please keep her in your prayers and we will update once Dr has seen her.
As you can see when she breathes every rib can be counted. We are so happy she is on her way to a better life. She goes back to the vet in a week and is on special food and feeding schedule to put weight on her.
Susie is not up for adoption at this time. She has a potential home waiting once she jas had all her vetting which will include a full dental as her teeth are horrible.
Susie getting a good wash from the lovely ladies at Kountry K9 groom and board.
