A group of WV volunteers who rescue and foster dogs and puppies to adopt out to great homes. We fundraise for medical cases to cover vet bills for stray dogs.

Stepping Stones Canine Fosters, WV was founded on November 1, 2013. We have several volunteers and welcome any and all support. Since its start, SSCFWV has sent over 1500 dogs and puppies to rescue. We work with many other rescue groups as well. We are officially a 501c3 Tax Deductible charity as of February 27, 2015. Our foster periods consist of 10-14 days and all materials needed are supplied b

Got these 3 little girls yesterday and they are the most gentle loving puppies there is, They go to the bathroom on the paper already and love to play with my lot, it doesn’t take long to tire them out mind lol .
They are said to be chocolate lab mixes and are approximately 14 weeks old, they will all be spayed and up to dates on all their shots so if your looking for a gentle female pup give us a shout so you can come and meet them x

304 310 2355 is the number to call to help us save 3 parvo puppies. We have committed to sponsor treatment at Critter Connection in Chapmanville. These 3 babies are sick and need help. Please donate if you can directly to the Vet office for the Stepping Stones Parvo pups. We do not have the funds to cover it all out of pocket but we know the village can and will help. No amount is too small.

Today is our wonderful founders birthday. Chrissy Perkins is one of a kind and her love for animals is unmatched. She fights like a champion for all the right things. She stands up for those without a voice and she helps those in need. We are honored to know her and love her. Please help us wish her the very best birthday ever today!

Sweet Maddox has been fully vetted and is off to Noahs Ark Rescue. We have a balance of $99.71 due by 4pm tomorrow at the Merritts Creek Vet office. They close today at 1pm. If anyone would please like to donate to help us pay off the balance please call them 304 525 8387 before 1pm Wed (today) or between 8am and 4pm Tomorrow. If we cannot cover the bill we will have to pay out of pocket. We depend on donors to help us save dogs. Please share and donate if you can. Every little bit helps.

Super simple to enroll and we get free money every quarter from Kroger. You must re-enroll by Aug 31 and reelect Stepping Stones Canine Fosters WV as your charity of choice OUR NEW NUMBER IS CT470. We only have about 25 households enrolled so if you want to help by just buying groceries here is the way to do it! Please share to your friends also.

Immediate Foster’s needed for this little girl found by the side of the road, Everything will be provided such as food and crate and pen, would be for few weeks whilst she is vetted and fixed . We would have to secure her spay spot at Critter connection in Chapmanville where she would need dropped by 09.00 on appointment day and then collected in the late afternoon.
Lisa Carney Jennings has her but the resident dog not taken to the pup so needs moved asap.

Maddox needs help to pay for his vetting so he can get adopted in PA.
Hi all, we have agreed to sponsor vetting for a stray male standard poodle. He waa found july 7th in cabell county and never claimed. He has been named Maddox and will be going to Pennsylvania to a forever home. Due to the strict laws to cross state lines he has to be fully vetted and tested for diseases. We can cover his neuter and rabies but need help to cover the other vetting. He will be going to Merrits Creek Vet in Huntington. Hi all!
$350 needed to get this boy to his forever family.
We have agreed to take in Maddox. He is a stray adult male standard poodle. We have to have him completely vetted before he can go to his forever home in Pennsylvania. Due to very strict state rules he has to have everything done before he can enter PA. We will cover his neuter and rabies but we cannot cover all the shots and his health certificate to travel. We need help. He is booked in at the Merrits Creek Vet office in Huntington July 30 and his surgery is July 31. If you prefer to help by donating directly to the vet the number is 304 525 8287.
