And now, time for a Mary (formerly Scarlet) Pupdate…we kept our sweet Mary because we fell in love with her super sweet personality, and her gorgeous color! She is exactly what I dream about in a perfect Chocolate (looks and demeanor)…and we can’t wait to watch her grow into her stunning self!

We received a bunch of pupdates this week, so thought we’d do a great group Pupdate!
Team Avengers turn 14 weeks this Friday, can you believe it?!!
First 2 pics are Kyrie (formerly Thena 🤍) and Suri (formerly Stark❤️), their Family just loves them and says that their Veterinarian just gushes over them and thinks that they are such good looking pups…that makes me super proud! I could not have asked for a better litter.

(3rd and 4th pic) 2nd up is our little Scully (formerly Marvel) who isn’t so little anymore! Weighed at the Vets office and he is 29 pounds, which is bigger than his sister that we kept! His furparents are so in love with him and say that he is so funny and quite the little show off! 💜😂

3rd is Trigger (formerly Rocket) (5th and 6th pics)…he is such a handsome guy and he adores his big fur sister! 💚

4th up (7th pic) is the sweet boy Captain (Cappy) who kept his name…his furmom says he is a very good boy, and such a nice puppy! He’s so handsome…💙

(8th and 9th pics) is Tucker, (formerly Loki) he stayed very close (with our sons family) and we get to see him all the time, he is funny, and just the absolute sweetest guy ever! He stayed with us the longest and just went home this weekend, him and his sister (Mary) are the best of friends and she is missing him quite a bit, but will get to grow up together!💛

We didn’t get pictures yet of Brandy (formerly Wanda) who is getting ready to head to the Oregon Coast and possibly Arizona for a few months with Grandpa Norm! But we will get some pictures and post them soon…Norm says she is a Firecracker! She is trouble with a capital T…hahaha but he absolutely adores her and she is keeping him young! She gets along fantastic with her much older Big Fursister and has to cause trouble with her for a few hours each day! 🩷

I missed Miss Millie Mayhem’s gotcha day on Sunday with our tremendous scare…but it doesn’t mean she is loved any less. Happy Gotcha day Amelia Grace…you are trouble with a capital T, and we would not have it any other way! You’re so lucky your cute!

We received a perfect Pupdate on Kyrie (Thena 🤍) and Suri (Stark ❤️)…We absolutely love that this update is keeping it real! Puppies are a lot of work and we so appreciate everyone’s patience with their new babies, we certainly don’t expect it to be all sunshine and roses and find it hilarious that everyone is going through the same puppy stages!!!
Their Furmom writes…
“The girls are getting so big! They met their vet last week, and he said they are good-looking dogs. They have gained around 6 lbs each, and they were very brave little girls. Tonight, they had their 1st classes of puppy kindergarten. We are doing separate classes with them as part of our strategy to avoid littermate syndrome. Dad took Kyrie 1st, and she made fast friends with another puppy. I took Suri to the later class, and she did great until a couple of the larger breed puppies started playing too rough. After a short stint in the smaller puppy side, she gained the confidence to rejoin the other side and did great! Both of them loved the "obstacle course" part of class, where they got to explore all sorts of things, like a wheelchair, boxes, crinkly surfaces to step on, ladders laid flat, a kiddie pool full of empty water bottles, tunnels, etc. They are used to having kids' toys all over so they weren't phased. Kyrie wasn't too sure about the resident ferret, but Suri just ignored it (it was in a cage with a fence around it).
They are both mommy-girls, but Kyrie also refuses to go to sleep unless both Pat and I are in bed 😅 Potty training is about where you'd expect at their age. They never potty in bed, whining to let us know they need to go out, but they have no problem spending 20 minutes outside and coming in to squat right on the carpet 😂 We call them our little baby crocodiles because they are all teeth when they're playing. However, they are using a soft mouth 98% of the time when playing with their humans. They have mastered "sit" and "leave it" and have started picking up on "stay."" They've also learned their new names and know what "outside" means, running to the door when they hear it. They kept eating all the wood chips out of our garden, so we had to shovel them all up. They've made friends with the little mutt dog that lives behind us but aren't too sure about the St. Bernard that lives next door. He's got a big scary bark, and his head is bigger than their entire bodies! Their feline sister (Mewy) is still refusing to come upstairs, but she does sit at the top and hit them through the babygate when they try to sniff her. Kyrie usually avoids her while Suri just keeps sniffing while the cat goes ten rounds on her muzzle. I think Mewy secretly likes them because, as often as she's swatting at them, she's never used her claws. They loved Christmas, especially going to Grandma's and meeting their human and canine relatives. The girls LOVE to chew stuff up. We've lost a bit of carpet (we're replacing it with LVP when we remodel anyway, so we're not too worried about it). They've also chewed the laces off one pair of mom's shoes and part of the sole off of her new Hey Dudes 😒 Socks are not safe, nor is the back of the couch. They've developed a taste for bitter apple spray, so I think we're going to have to try a spicy deterrent next. We are still working on crate training and are hoping we'll get them sleeping in the crates in the next few weeks. The one time we crated them and actually left the house for about 45 minutes, Suri pooped in her crate, stepped in it, and made a huge mess🤢 😂
I think that's the bulk of it…We love them so much and feel so lucky that you chose us to be their family!!”

Pupdate on Scully, (Marvel)…his mom and dad are in love with him, they say he is a very good boy, and loves his big furbrother! They also tell me how smart he is…so smart that he pretends that he has pottied just to get a treat! 😂 He also has and obvious talent for seranading his dad…We love hearing these stories, and we are so proud of the Pupparents that we chose to raise these beautiful babies!!!

Captain kept his name, which we are super excited about! His new mom calls him Cappy for short and we just think it is adorable!

Cappy is really loving his forever home, with his new BFF’s…a lovely Golden and a Granddaughter bestie from right next door!

We also got pupdates on our sweet sisters who found their home together…Stark, now known as Suri, and Thena, now known as Kyrie are doing amazing, and of course are co-sleeping with their furparents…we would not have expected anything less! They could not have gotten luckier with their furever home! They are just the Dynamic Duo, and we are so excited for their future with this wonderful family! Thank you Bre and Pat for the great pictures!

Well it has been an emotional few days! All of team Avengers have gone to their forever homes, except for Tucker who will go home with our Son and his family after they get back from their Christmas trip to CA, and of course Mary who will stay with us!

Brandy went home last Sunday with Kevin’s Dad…he keeps saying that she is his new Love and we could not be happier for them!

Our Firecracker Trigger was next going home Thursday evening, he has settled right in and I know he will be so loved!

Today we said goodbye to 4 of our beautiful babies…Thena and stark got to go home together with the most amazing family! I can not wait to see the surprise on their kiddo’s faces when they get their Christmas surprise…how exciting!

Captain went to one of the most amazing and beautiful women I have ever known…a great friend and we could not be more excited for them both! I love you Sherry, thank you so much for the beautiful quilt that you made for me…I will treasure it forever! 🥰🩵

Marvel, was the last to go…symbolic because he was the last born and the last puppy to be picked. But the sweetest little guy deserved the perfect home and we know that we found it for him with the most perfect family!

I can not thank each and every one of our new Flying Goose family members enough…you have blessed our lives and we are so grateful that you are devoting your time, patience and love to our babies!

Oh yeah…She sure is a adorable, but she also bit the top of my work laptop today and shattered my screen when I got up to use the restroom and get a cup of coffee! Ok, so we have had a few curious friends and family asking about who the beautiful Miss Scarlet was going to, and well…the answer is, nowhere!! We have decided that she will remain with us and be part of our future Flying Goose Chocolate line! I could not have been more pleased with the way that this litter turned out and I definitely want to continue the journey with this gorgeous girl! She is everything I look for in a pup, calm, precious and just beautiful!

Our time is slowly coming to an end with our beautiful Team Avengers litter. Everyone will be on their journeys home starting tomorrow…I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little sad, but we are confident that we were blessed with the perfect home for each puppy…
We want to thank all of our future Flying Goose Families for investing the time, love, devotion, and patience that it will take to raise these beautiful puppies.
It has truly been an honor watching them grow, play, love, and fight lol! I also want to thank my daughter Dani for helping so much with these guys! She has loved them just as much as I have and deserves a ton of credit for the amount of dedication she has given them these past 8 weeks.

Pupdate…
Team Avengers is 7 weeks old today! We are in the beginning stages of potty training and it is going really well for as young as they are! The Team received their first set of shots, worming and health checks earlier this week and will be ready for their forever homes as early as next week!
I can not believe our journey is coming to an end with these beautiful puppies. My wish is that everyone who became part of the Flying Goose Family by giving their hearts to one (or more) of these beautiful babies will keep in contact, and be willing to send Pupdates every so often, so that we can watch them grow and become part of their new families! The puppies may not always be part of our home, but they will always be a part of our family and forever in our hearts.

Team Avengers had a busy afternoon…we had our 6 week health check, vaccinations and deworming. The team did so well and all have a clean bill of health! We are so excited for all of our new Flying Goose Labrador Family members to welcome their new furbabies in just a few short weeks! We still have one little guy (Marvel) available…so spread the word, he couldn’t be more perfect!
