I am a Senior at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. My passion for animals started when I was 4 years old. Since then, I have always made them a part of my life. I started my business in 2014, at the age of 18, and have been expanding ev

er since. In April of 2017, I became the Sole Proprietor of Cotton's Critter Sitter and now can be found in the Mecklenburg County business catalog. Throughout my years of learning and growing with my business, my passion for my animals and clients remained constant. I make sure to provide loving, personal care to your beloved pets at your home, where they feel safe and comfortable while you are away. Say hello to “Sassy”! This is my foster resident for the next few days as we look to find her the purrrr-fect home. She’s about 7 weeks old! She’s very scared right now but is warming up to cuddles. She is quite beautiful. With large blue eyes along with being a long haired Siamese, she’s going to be a stunner. Please, if you know someone looking for a new addition let me know.

When I rescued Winston at two years old, I was a little nervous as to what I would get. I believe that’s the stigma most people have when it comes to adopting a senior dog. However, he is the most kind, patient, and loving dog I have ever had. I urge you to consider all of your options when looking to expand your family.

Thank you for sharing, Dawn! This is so important to remember when you decide to adopt. This is a new and sometimes scary venture for your new furry friend. Be patient. Be kind. Be loving. Be ACCEPTING. We always want to shower our new animals with hugs, kisses and gifts but sometimes distance and understanding is better. As always.. adopt don’t shop!! ❤️
