Best results yet with Maitake. I manually misted these with a spray bottle 3 times a day after I opened the bags. Maitake is a tricky mushroom to grow and timing when and how you open the bags is key. This time I opened them above the filter patch, which is referred to as a "high collar"

In the midst of the chaos that comes with renovating I was able to grow some Maitake and a few others. These top fruited inside the bag. I'll have them at the farmers market this weekend!

Sometimes we get lucky. Chicken Of The Woods is not only a beautiful mushroom. Its packed full of vitamins and minerals. Its a great culinary mushroom with amazing health benefits 🍄

Still working hard on renovating the growing complex. This is taking longer than I anticipated, but we are making progress. I can't wait to be back up and running again!

Over the next week or two I'm working on completely renovating the mushroom grow room. So, unfortunately our fresh mushrooms will be very limited while going through this process.

This will be a total upgrade, and improvement in the cleanliness and efficiency of our mushroom production. My goal is to be finished and up and running again as soon as possible.

Thank you all for your continued support, as our loyal customers are the reason we are growing, and needing to expand and improve. Without you, it wouldn't make sense.
