Chestnut mushrooms can be thrown into many recipes. The flavor is best described as earthy, nutty, and buttery. I like to mix them into meatloaves, or spaghetti sauce. They are also great cooked with eggs, or as a side with butter and a little garlic and sea salt. A great mushroom to cook with. 🍳 🍄

Our mushroom jerky is a great way to get the benefits from mushrooms. For those of you that may not enjoy the texture of cooked mushrooms, and want a healthy alternative to traditional beef jerky, with the same feel.

We take pride in our original recipe, and through the process we effectively break down mushroom chitin to make it easier to digest. Our plans to introduce a new flavor are looking promising for the future!

-Saturday 8-12pm: Lake Norman Area Farmers Market and Mount Holly Farmers Market

Make sure you guys stop by and say hey to George Lee at Mount Holly! He will be there holding down the fort!

I ran into some challenges at the farm with the warm weather change.. So Fresh Mushrooms are more limited than usual. Temperatures are back under control, mostly. My goal is to keep it that way all summer so we can enjoy those cold weather varieties we all love!
