I’ve been avoiding this post.

Sweet Xena has crossed the rainbow bridge.

For those of you that may not know her, she found her way to my family in need here in NC, and she was adopted by the BEST family in New York.

Unfortunately, she started having seizures. For a while it was being managed, but this past weekend she had 30+.

Please keep her family in her thoughts and prayers. Xena slept with her little girl every night whom is going to miss her very much.

We dipped into our reserve to help our favorite cat rescuer, Casey Maynor. Recently, someone dumped 8 feral cats on her property. That’s in addition to the ones she already cares for. Now that temperatures are dropping, the cats dont have enough warm beds.

So…we sent her one!! ❤️

THIS WEEK, ALL SOCK FUNDS GO TO THE STORAGE TUB PUPPIES with Forgotten, Now Family Rescue. They were found of Halloween and the shelter said they’d be euthanized upon intake. They were found in a storage tub labeled for Christmas decorations. 😭

Friday 6pm. 9/spot. Benefits: 2 initiatives. 1) Wrap up our treat indicative. We have 7 bags left to get sponsorship for. (these were the ones we were able to buy discounted. Originally $10, purchased for $5.) They will be sent to Marion County SC Animal Shelter. 2) The rest of the funds will benefit Tommy, with Kolita Rescued Inc.. He was brutally abused and even though he is out of our scope geographically, we will forever support him. ❤️ His care is expensive. Includes: 20 in North Carolina scratch off tickets, sponsored by Linda Benicase.

Another great week of socks. We sent $75 to Edna, and 54 socks to help those experiencing homelessness. ❤️ thank you Forgotten, Now Family Rescue for saving her.
