Dear Animal People Family,
We want to start by saying thank you — from the bottom of our hearts. Your support, trust, and love for what we do have helped Animal People grow into something truly special. Because of you, we’ve come such a long way in just one year — earning amazing reviews, building an incredible community, and even taking home an award that we’re so proud of.
Our mission has always been simple: to be the best dog boarding and daycare facility in Charlotte — not the biggest, not the cheapest, but the best. To give every dog who walks through our doors a place that feels like home, and to give every parent peace of mind knowing their best friend is in caring, capable hands.
To keep reaching that goal, we need to make a few important changes.
Our new hours starting on January 1st, 2026 will be 7am to 6:30pm everyday (major holidays excluded).
Beginning January 1st, 2026, our new rates will be:
• Boarding: $54 per night
• Daycare: $32 per full day; $22 per half day
• Late Pickup Fees: $15 for pickups after 6:30pm. Last pick ups are at8pm. Dogs needed to be picked up after 8pm are welcome to stay the night and can be picked up the following day at 7am.
We don’t take this decision lightly — we truly wish we didn’t have to make it at all. But as costs have continued to rise across the board — from rent and cleaning supplies to telecommunications and maintenance — we’ve also made intentional investments to renovate and improve our facility so your dogs have the safest, cleanest, and happiest environment possible.
Most importantly, we believe in taking care of our people — the heart and soul of Animal People. Our team pours their love, energy, and dedication into every single dog who comes through our doors. They deserve raises, growth, and stability — and we’re determined to attract and keep the very best talent in Charlotte so your pups continue to receive the highest level of care.
