You know the old saying, “sometimes you gotta give a little to get a whole lot more?” Well that’s kinda my story. You see, on the surface I look like your average wonderful shep. I’m handsome, loving, and just an all round great guy. Just one thing, some time in the next couple of years, I’m going to need hip surgery. The nice folks at GSRA will pay for the surgery, but I need a family that will help keep me fit until that time and then help me get better after. Some folks say I’m a handsome dude. Maybe so, but I think I’m way more that just a pretty face. I’m Maverick btw, but you can call me “Mav.” I lost my family to a flood a while back and I’ve been trying really hard to get my life back on track since then. My foster mom says I’m doing great… I’m just a little fussy about the canine company I keep. I’m super gentle, loving, and do that shep thing where I just melt into you when we sit together. Owner Surrender** Loki's Daddy passed away unexpectedly. He has now been surrendered as what little family he had can't take him. Loki is a fully vetted German Shepherd who is neutered, three years old and devastated. Please see the video we shot earlier with this sweet boy. We all hurt for him.
