Emergency Plea for Fosters for these Puppies. We have delayed their arrival until tomorrow in order to secure foster. This is a life or death situation for these pups. So far we have one foster. The fantastic four are 14 week old great pyrenees/anatolian shep mixes. They are large at 30 lbs. already. All supplies provided. If you are not already an approved foster please fill out a foster app. Thank you to Nancy Roy for volunteering to foster.

These sweet babies will be here on Friday. They are 14 week old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shep mixes. They are on the large side at about 30 lbs already. They are a little shy, but warm up quickly. We had some foster and adopter interest previously, but please let me know if you are interested in fostering or adopting. There are two boys and 2 girls.

It’s Louie’s turn for the spotlight. This sweet boy is 11 weeks old and so ready for his forever family. He is an energetic boy who also loves to snuggle. He will fall right to sleep on you. He likes other dogs and does have a lot energy. He does well with children! We believe he is a lab mix, potentially lab border collie mix. Check Louie out!!

Poppy is absolutely popping with personality. This little girl is full of love and s***k. She is a great snuggler, playmate and genuinely happy girl. She is 3 months old and has absolutely beautiful brindle markings!! She should be about 50 lbs. full grown. She is a hound/boxer mix.

Frank, this adorable little, 1.5 yr old Pug came to NMAR today. He has had and been treated for a non serious upper respiratory infection and could still be contagious to other dogs for another week or so.
We are looking for a foster that either doesn't have other dogs oe can keep him isolated from them (a basement living area or other seperate Indoor space ).
He seems to LOVE people. Not yet neutered (but will be) and we don't know yet if he is house trained. We can provide belly bands in case he isn't. We will supply everything needed. If you have already put in a foster ap, please email [email protected]

Meet Charlie!! Charlie needs an immediate foster. We rescued Charlie from a severe neglect situation. We believe he may be a King Charles/beagle/hound mix. He is an adult right around a year old. He will need help with manners and house training. He has used a crate and did fine. He weighs right around 20 lbs. and has done well with other dogs. Please let us know if you can foster.

SPECIAL FOSTER NEEDED FOR LITTLE ARROW
Due to a poorly healed hip fracture Arrow is going to have a surgery, probably an amputation, of a back leg.
We need a foster for her, preferably to go to now so she has time to acclimate before her surgery, which is in approximately 2 weeks, and then stay in after surgery for several weeks.
Her aftercare will be very simple. Leash walks to make sure she doesn't take off running and keeping her from playing too rough while her incision Heals.
She's a very happy, social gal who loves toys, people and other dogs. Approximately 30 lbs.

Many people try to remove their wrinkles, but wrinkles give sweet Luna her character and charm as well as make her extra adorable. Luna is a three month old boxer/hound mix. We believe that she will be about 50 ish pounds when full grown. She is a super happy girl and loves to play and do all things puppy! She is ready for her forever home and family.

Emmitt is absolutely the best boy ever. He is a one year old collie mix. He loves everyone and everything. He needs his forever family. He loves car rides, trips, and has the best manners. Kids are his favorite people. He weighs about 20 lbs.

Such a fun day yesterday. Thank you again to Hop and Vine Davidson for such a fun event celebrating North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue and showing off some of our pups! Thank you to Keisha Murphy and The Sweetest Thing Bake Shop Clt for helping to quench our Valentine sweet tooth.

SURVIVED COYOTE ATTACK...

Now she needs a person to love her. Princess was attacked by a coyote 8 months ago. After 10 days at the vet she turned a corner and hasn't looked back since. The attack left Princess deaf, but that doesn't impair her life or her ability to love. She gets along just fine. She is initially shy, but once she knows you, she's the most affectionate girl ever. LOVES other kitties. Princess Is spayed, fiv neg., vaccinated. 2.5 years old.
