Fun fact: Bearded dragons will often take naps for a few weeks in the fall (although it can happen at any time of the year) and then they wake up and get back to life as if they didn't just give their humans heart attacks 😂 I bet we all wish we could take naps for weeks at a time too! Speaking of Bearded dragons, meet Beardie! He's absolutely beautiful and was so content just lounging around on his humans' arms while they walked around the store!

Last week was a busy week here at Pet Supplies Plus! From planning events for our amazing neighbors to saying goodbye to Gus-Gus! Gus-Gus went to the Richmond Zoo on Wednesday to live his best life. We've been told he's settling in very well and LOVES his new enclosure. Almost immediately he started sunbathing and was seen relaxing on a branch! He's being quarantined for health checks so he is not available to the public just yet, but we were told due to his calm temperament and fun personality, he will likely end up being an ambassador for the Richmond Zoo and people will be allowed to interact with him for special events! How cool is that?! We are beyond excited for his future at the Richmond Zoo, and we can't wait for you all to get to see him there! Here's a picture of him and his care takers!

Our Summer Pet Party was a success! We had so much fun watching the dogs find the treats in the pool and watching their owners play the human games! We can't wait for our next event in July! We hope to see you there!

Good morning, all! We have teamed up with Karmic Dog Photography to bring you PROFESSIONAL photos of your fur-baby! For $25, you will get a 15-minute session and 6-7 professional photos of your beloved pet! This event will be happening July 28, 2024, from 1-4pm! I will be attaching a QR code you can scan to get on the schedule for the day and we will also be accepting walk-ins! Of course, your pet is the star of the show here at Pet Supplies Plus, but humans ARE welcome to join in on the fun and get in the photos! Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier upon arrival! I'm also attaching a few of the photographers' favorite photos from previous summer sessions so you can see some of her work! Look at these cuties! Meet Bucky, Bronco, and Bear! Bucky is the orange Kitty and he's already been adopted 😊 Bronco is the black kitty and Bear is the long hair tabby kitten. They are super sweet, snuggly, playful brothers! They are 3 months old, fully vetted and micro-chipped and ready for their fur-ever homes! All adoptions are handled by Meg at the Louisa Humane Society. Stop by and meet these sweet brothers and see if one or both of them are the right kitties for your family!
