• U P D A T E S •

I’ve been super busy after the new year and it’s taken me a while to get to my updates. So here they are!

Unfortunately, pricing has increased this year. I tried every avenue to keep the best prices possible that are fair to both you all and myself. That being said, a 25% deposit is required at time of booking. Refunds for cancellations will be administered if cancelled more than 3 days out from services. Bookings cancelled within three days of service are non refundable. Last minute bookings, less than 48 hours, will require payment in full at time of booking. Cancellations of these bookings will receive a 50% refund.

Holiday rates have also changed. Major holidays are now a three day holiday rate.

I understand that life happens and there are many things out of our control. I promise I’m not a monster and I’m extremely understanding! However, we work and plan diligently to make sure we can accommodate everyone that needs our services. These updates not only secure your pups place but also secure our time with them.

THANK YOU to everyone that let us love on your babies in 2022 and continue to share them in 2023! I can’t wait to see what this year brings!

• HOLIDAYS ARE FULL •

Between Ana and myself this holiday season we’re maxed out. We’re both so excited to spend time with your babies and equally excited to see what the next year brings!

I’m midway through Covid leave and apologize for any inconvenience that caused, I made it three years before being plagued and didn’t know what to expect. It’s been a weird week that’s for sure.

I’ll have more updates to share about the coming year’s availability and changes! Until then, Happy Howlidays from mine to yours! 🐾💛

• V E R A & V I V •

Vera & Viv are ready for adoption and eagerly awaiting their new families! These girls have been with me since the end of April and have quite the personalities. They’re kennel trained, spayed and very well socialized with other dogs!

I’ve been extremely busy with boarding since summer started and I’d love to see them adopted instead of going back to the rescue or another foster home. These girls are my last foster babies for a while so it will be a bittersweet goodbye. I always hope siblings can stay together, but I have no doubt these two will make friends where ever they go.

It’s literally the 7th and this entire month is packed out! I only have a small amount of time in July and August is picking up as well. I’m already making plans to pick up more kiddie pools and frozen treats for the pups 😂

Wedding handling is unavailable for August 13th.

Specific unavailable dates:
July 20-27
August 11-16
August 19-22
September 10-17

Other big dates with extremely minimal space are October 15-22, Christmas and New Years - 12/20-1/10. In home stays will not be available during this time. We’re still working out details with boarding and drop ins.

This year has been AMAZING getting to hangout with your babies and I’m so excited for everyone I’ll get to see this summer!

If I had to make a list of my food scavengers, Brody would be at the top with Roscoe. Something about labs and their love for food has me hiding all bowls even out of my reach. This kid has been so fun to hang with and I’m thrilled his people let me get to know him! He fit right in with my crew and was hardly bothered by the foster puppies bouncing around. He likes his treats and heavily dislikes hardwood floors and thunderstorms. I was curious about how he’d react to a pre-wedding bath - turns out he’s all about the pampering, too.

Brody, you’re always welcome here when you come to Chattanooga. 🖤

Hung out with these two cuties recently 🥰

Cash is the sweetest most timid girl. She likes her safe spots, giving kisses when she’s comfortable and treats. The queen let’s Tony know when she’s had enough of his shenanigans. Also feels extremely awkward in front of the camera.

Tony is a giant goofy baby. He’s big and bad until he hears the treat bag crinkle or kibble rattling into a bowl. He irritates Cash until she’s had enough. He barked at me and I gave him the stare. We’re good buddies now.

Hey, y’all! Comin’ in hot with some updates on my availability.

Unfortunately, I will not be taking anymore boarding clients throughout the month of April. Those that have already booked are confirmed - no worries! I understand that April is a big month for spring breaks and I will do my best to work with you all as far as drop ins and in home stays go. However, due to one of my own needing some calm and time to heal I can’t take anymore boarding clients.

The brindle nugget above is Bain. We found out in January that he had torn his cruciate ligament in his left knee and will need surgery to repair it. We have it scheduled for next Wednesday. I know, it’s the end of March and we found out two months ago. As most of you know, there aren’t many options to assist with the blow of large vet bills. I couldn’t let Bain sit around for months on end until I could do it all myself so I started a GFM to assist with funds and I’ll post the link below. Despite his injury, Bain has still been mostly himself wanting to play ball and tour the yard. Only now I have to be more cautious of his activity. In the time we were waiting to schedule, I purchased a brace that he wears a few hours a day to give him the support his knee cannot. Needless to say - he’s not a fan. So with that, I am capping April on boarders and giving Bain the time to heal and adjust post surgery without too much stimulation and energy running around.

I hope y’all understand and know that we will do our best to work with you throughout April! You and your babies keep this dream of mine alive and my dogs well exercised 💛

It’s that time! My books are opening and I’m so excited to love on your kiddos! But before I get into that I wanted to give y’all a personal update.

First, I’ve been pretty absent lately while taking some time for myself - which I posted previously. If you’ve reached out within the last couple weeks, I’ve definitely been less than responsive. Webster, my first and oldest baby, passed last Tuesday. To be quite honest and real with y’all, it’s been absolute hell. He gave me over 18 perfect years and I’ll always carry them with me. Webster was my once in a lifetime dog and I’m forever grateful to have been his mama.

So! Back to business, in the past week I’ve received quite a few requests starting this weekend. As of now, March is almost full and we’re booking into April. Spring Break is right around the corner! PLEASE book sooner than later if you can! Ana and I are so excited to get back into the swing of things and hang with your pups!

Just a reminder, rates are:
$30/day regular, +$15/day additional pup
$45/day holiday rate, +$20/day additional pup*
*holiday rates are for day before and day of holiday, Christmas and New Years have a three day holiday rate
**Pickup/drop off and drop in rates vary on distance

• BOOKED THROUGH MARCH •

Y’all, as much as I hate to make a post like this, I have to. The amount of you that have let me love on your pets and make them family the last few years is absolutely amazing. Truly, I’ve never been happier in my entire life.

However, the amount I’ve received the past week is more than I’m able to accommodate. I do understand that last minute things pop up and I continue to reserve room for such instances, but I only have so many spots and so much time in a day.

That being said - I encourage booking of holiday boarding as early as possible. I hate turning pups away. I mean HATE it. Holidays are crazy as is and I do everything I can to balance work, pups, family and social life. I hope y’all understand that between Ana and myself we do everything we can with our schedules to ensure your pups feel at home and get all the lovins. Being at capacity is both a blessing and a curse - especially when it comes to holidays.

Thank y’all for trusting us with your babies and we are so looking forward to 2022. I cannot wait to see the babies that are already on my calendar and the ones that will be soon after 🥰💛

• FOSTER PUPS •

These two cuties are a mama and son duo - Bonnie & Bear 🥰

Bonnie and her litter were picked up after roaming about property in Georgia and brought to APAAP. Bonnie is the SWEETEST little thing. She’s content with a kennel or on the couch, potty trained and quiet. When I tell y’all she’s got the most gentle demeanor I mean it. I’m not sure how anyone could turn this cute face away and let her wander alone - she’s absolutely perfect. Bonus points for her underbite 😍

Bear was the last of the pups to be caught and still a tad shy at times. He loves to play with the other pups and has warmed up to people so much! He’s *mostly* potty trained. Little accidents when he’s nervous and sometimes leaves a trail on the way to the back door. He LOVES his kennel and will gladly tuck himself in. Also, he’s brindle. And I am an absolute sucker for brindle pups 🖤🤎

Bear will be neutered Wednesday and available for adoption! Bonnie will be spayed within the next week or two - but can be a foster-to-adopt! If you’re interested in either of these absolutely beautiful pups feel free to reach out to myself or complete an adoption application at

This crew has quite the range of personalities. Maia is an absolute angel and follows you around. Gabby is the lovebug and wants to cuddle - or simply lay in the sunshine. Hudson let’s you know he’s there with his bark, but treats win him over real quick. Barley is the scaredy cat. He’s not about new people and I had to try all my tricks to get him to warm up. Turns out, gaining this fearful dogs trust is nothing more than cheese.* and a LOT of cheese at that 😂

Super excited to spend more time with these kiddos soon! They’re such a fun bunch and their mama is so wonderful!

*Not all fearful dogs will respond to treats. Handling dogs that are afraid of humans is a very delicate and important task. Some are too afraid to bite while others only know to bite and defend themselves. Never assume you can offer a treat and grab them - whether it’s the pup of someone you know, a foster or a stray.

Greta’s hot spot the last couple weeks.

NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS. Trust me, had I caught it before it was this bad I would’ve had it taken care of. Dogs don’t always show pain and discomfort like people. I am always so careful about collars and ensuring they’re not too tight or too loose. Greta had the same braided collar since I got her - it’d been adjusted as she grew of course - and I didn’t think of the possible issues it could cause.

As far as the training collar, it comes off nightly to be charged. The only thing I can figure is that when she shakes her head that’s the part of her neck that it sits on. No, I don’t zap her unless absolutely necessary and it’s on a low setting when I do. There are no shock collars that have enough power to burn a dog.

Check your babies collars. Take them off at night. Again, I’ve always been so so careful to make sure they’re not too tight. Greta has so much extra skin and long fur I never noticed an irritation until it was infected. Now I’m a tad psycho inspecting my dogs and every pup that comes through my doors. 💛
