Huxley is an active, loyal and family-oriented young man. He is trained well in basic and intermediate commands (sit, stay, leave it, come, shake, down, etc.), but typical to the breed, can be stubborn at times. He loves his family more than anything, including children whom he is very gentle with. He is apprehensive about strangers, causing him to bark loudly out of fear until he calms down. He is generally much better with women than men he does not know. Huxley gets along with most dogs, but can play roughly at times. He does not know how to interact with our cat in a safe and respectful manner, so he should not be around cats. He gets along well with our Corgi, however, and can become good friends with other dogs when introduced properly. He is house-trained as well as you possibly could be and would provide the right individual or family with a loyal, loving and active companion. We are looking for an active home - he currently resides in California looking for a new home that is more suitable for him - small rehoming fee. Please PM for information - feel free to share.
