Since we’ve had Indy I haven’t taken her anywhere off my place but to the vet one time. Today I took her to a play day at the barn my sister works at. She was very well behaved! Obstacles, bridges, poles no problem! Ground work is a huge part of training! She is also an up coming 2 yr old but because of her stifle issues she just gets all the ground work and love! No plans for her to be started under saddle until she’s about 4 yrs old.

Recently we found out that one of our personal horses had a stifle problem. Got her to the vet and X-rays were done, turns out she has an abnormal stifle. It didn’t develop correctly when she was a baby and before born. The news was heartbreaking. Was told she would never be a sound horse. I was too devastated to ask more questions.

Indy❤️ One day at a time!

Dani called the vet on Monday to ask more questions about her future. He said she would be able to be a light riding horse and do play days. But no showing for her unfortunately. Getting her started on a developmental grain and a good joint and bone supplement to help. She has my heart way too much, can’t let her go. Doing all that I can!
