Oddly enough after our post this morning we became aware of a local scam. People who have posted missing pets on Facebook are getting texts from someone claiming to be an "Animal Control Officer" saying they have found the missing pet and requesting verification from the individual.

Our Community Service Officers will never, 1. Identify themselves as an Animal Control Officer, 2. text you if we find your dog, 3. Send or request a verification code. Ever.

Our CSOs may call you, if they know the dog we have is yours. Otherwise, we post the dogs we have on our Facebook and Instagram for people to see and share.

Please report anyone trying to scam you over a lost pet using our online reporting www.cityofcentralia.com/crimetips

Apparently Save This Life is going out of business. We used to use that microchip years ago, so please make sure your information is up to date on our system. And make sure your pets wear collars with your current phone numbers also! That way we can find them if the registry doesn’t work. Call or message with any questions or concerns ❣️

Meet Rodent Her new name is Roddie now. and Riley their owner passed away and they were in Montesano They came her about a month ago. they are both seniors, with masses hard and soft, lumps, and Riley has cherry eye and heart murmur they both need full dental and all shots. We don't believe they are spay but that is the least of our worry These surgeries will be in the thousands of dollars if there is anyone who would like to help donate they both would be so grateful as they are so lovable they have been checked out by my vet Scatter Creek and there is a long list of things that need done to both of them.

This is Lucy, a 1 1/2 yr old Belgian Malinois. She is really ball oriented. Does not get along with other female dogs. Her personality is awesome,loves being outside and on walks Lucy is spay and UTD on all shots and microchipped. Her rehoming fee is $260

This is a wish list created to help our rescue momma dog Fiona with her brand-new litter of puppies and their needs. Any donations bought off the wish list will be greatly appreciated. As well as any money spend is tax deductible as a donation to a 501C3. These puppies were unexpected, and we were not prepared as we would've liked to be. I am sad to say Manerva's time here is almost over She came here from Regional Animal Services of King County when they reached out to us and asked if we could take Manerva. they opened her up to do spay and found her full of cancer and it had matasized. but she was still happy and healthy so I didn't know how long she would have but she has had a great time outside and wondering all over the place with me and the other animals. She came here Janu 20th of last year so she almost made it a full year. I will be helping her cross over tomorrow.
