Hey everyone. Time for an update...

These last few weeks have been very up and down but full of learning opportunities for me.

Unfortunately, despite the strongest of efforts, my clutch between Skor and Wolfie was unsuccessful.
To make a long story short, I was quite unlucky and the small genetic risk we were aware of (which is why we did this test clutch) ended up causing big problems and the babies were suffering. So we chose to collectively end the test and end their suffering.

Obviously, this is something we work very hard to avoid but sometimes there are unknown elements or other things out of your control. I'm not at all lying when I say it surprised all of us involved.
S.I.P., Babies, I am sorry it ended up this way.

Anyway...
On a more positive note, I have two new stunning breeding animals coming in soon who will hopefully make my program work the way I wanted it to. I have to give a shout out to Rose Bostwick for the male since you're on my page. Thank you for letting him go to me! ❤️ It's very appreciated.

Please hang in there with me while I make many changes here (moving tanks around, tank upgrades, etc) and welcome my new arrivals.
I'm sure the next clutch I set up will be successful and I'll have some authentic Kindred Aquatics axolotls available to you sometime in early 2025.

In the meantime, I'll be raising some more eggs from other breeders.

Got some really nice Amanos in trade for some of the juvenile axolotls I had recently. Was sitting enjoying watching them when I decided to grab my camera and capture them doing what they do best - devouring an all-you-can-eat algae and detrius buffet. So without further ado - Please enjoy viewing some shrimpy business!

P.S. Did you know Amano shrimp are about the most effective freshwater algae control out there, but that the larvae require salty conditions to develop into full-fledged shrimp? Then, back into freshwater they go!

I have a juvenile axolotl who I'm going to start looking to place soon.

He/she is about 3.5 inches big and nicknamed "Comet". Comet is a Hypomelanistic Leucistic type and is a bit stunted and quirky (tail deformation) due to genetic issues and an episode of illness early on in development.

He/she is definitely adorable, friendly, curious and will make someone a really loveable and unique pet but will need an experienced and/or dedicated-to-learning owner. Someone who will keep a close eye and be able to spot issues or ask questions before any major decline takes place and who doesn't mind some imperfections in their pet.

Its with much pride I announce that our first home breeding was successful!

Wolfie and Skor did a great job together and I now have 83 developing eggs.

Tomorrow I'll be sending a bunch of them off to be hatched and raised by a couple other breeders (thanks for your help, guys!) and screened for any abnormalities. I will be personally raising 30 of them.

This clutch should be very colorful and long gilled with the possibility for Wild, Melanoid, Axanthic, Copper, Leucistic, Albino and many blended morphs.

All of these offspring are guaranteed het for Melanoid, Axanthic and Copper with the possibility for Albino and Leucistic.

We are very excited for these babies to hatch! Stay tuned 😄

We have a new friend coming in soon!

Very excited about him. He is an axolotl that deserves a soft place to land and we are more than happy to oblige and spoil him. Hopefully Wolfie and Lucky feel the same about welcoming new roommate!

Please enjoy this photo of Wolfie for now... I'll do a proper intro for the new guy after he's settled in. I'm planning on getting a lot more photos out of all of my breeders and permanent residents once I work out some kinks with my camera. So stay tuned!

Decided to raffle off a baby in celebration of this day 🙌
. So meet "Eclypse"!
he/she is delighted to stand for such an important day in our American history.

Eclypse sports a stunningly light, greenish-yellow toned body (The very lightest hypo wild of this clutch).
This contrasted by the ashy grey spotting and gills covered in shiny iridophores make this axolotl a true beauty 🤩
Eclypse measures about 4" from head to tail tip.

This axolotl is being raffled as a pet only.

*** Please note the following:

SALE AND SHIPPING POLICIES

For axolotls:
- We only ship/sell to fully legal states! Sales will be refused to all California, Maine, New Jersey, D.C., New Mexico or Hawaiian residents - Sorry for any inconvenience!
Local delivery and pickup is also available
- All lineage and known genetics will be stated with breeding quality axolotls that are for sale
If lineage is unknown or there are other issues, i.e. it was a rescue, it will be listed PET ONLY and by adopting one listed as PET ONLY, you agree never to breed the axolotl(s) and only house the axolotl(s) with same-sexed individuals of the same species (Ambystoma Mexicanum)
- We only ship FedEx Overnight or UPS 2 Day for the safety of the axolotls, this ranges $30-$100+
- If temps are below 32°f or above 75°f, we will delay shipping until the weather is more suitable (you will be notified of a delay)
- In the extremely rare incident of a DOA, we will either replace the axolotl with another of equal value or give you a full refund, however we cannot always guarantee that another axolotl of the exact same color will be available.
We will require video of the axolotl in its original packaging for proof and the package must be picked up within 2 hours of delivery or DOA policy is void.
- All axolotls are sent out in insulated boxes with cold packs
- All sales are final unless DOA

For Bettas and other:
- We ship/sell to all U.S states, with local delivery and pickup also available
- All Bettas/other fish/plants will be shipped in insulated boxes with heat or cold packs if necessary
- If temps are below 40°f or above 85°f, we will delay shipping until the weather is more suitable (you will be notified of a delay)
- We ship FedEx Overnight, UPS 2-day or USPS 2 day for the safety of the Bettas, this can run $20-$100+
- In the rare event of a DOA, we will replace the Betta with another Betta of equal value, or provide a full refund.
We cannot guarantee a replacement Betta will be available of the exact same color, but we will do our best to give you a replacement that you are happy with.
Video of the fish in its original package is required for proof and the package must be picked up within 2 hours of delivery or DOA policy is void.
