A little about me!! My name is Mary and I founded Pampered Pets nearly 17 years ago. I grew up here in Cherry Hill, attending St Peter Celestine School (Now Resurrection School) and Camden Catholic High School. My husband, John, and I settled here in Cherry Hill and our kids attended Cherry Hill schools and our daughter attended Bishop Eustace. We are empty nesters now but dote on our beautiful lab, Sugar. I am a wife and mother and my favorite role is now Mom Mom to two beautiful grandchildren. I spent many years (many adult years as well) wondering what I wanted to be when I grew up and who knew it was right there all along!! Pampered Pets has evolved and grown and changed in many ways through the years, but one thing has never changed. I’ve promised each client that I/We will love and care for their pets as if they were our own and I have promised that the safety and sanctity of their home would be handled as if it were our Mom’s home. I have promised open communication and all of our nearly 700 clients have my cell number and know they can call or text me at anytime if they need or want to. I love this business and the amazing people I get the privilege to work with each day and while my husband sees me working long hours at all hours it’s never really work when you do something you love!! Meet our adorable Rebecca!! Rebecca joined our team a little over a year ago. Shes a teacher by day and works weekends and summers around her schedule and busy life. She is the sweetest young woman and I’ve never seen her not smiling. She’s reliable and her warmth and love have been well-received by all of the pets she cares for. Meet Kelly!! Kelly joined our team a little over two months ago and we really put her to the test as one of her first visits shadowing Sarah was to visit a home with 10 bird cages and about 20 birds, if not more as this family also fosters birds in the house. I was worried we might scare her off for her first visit, but she jumped right in like a natural. She’s been doing that with each pet she cares for from day one. Kelly gives us her availability around her busy job and family and shows up with love and a smile. I wish I had a photo of her with her hair down because I have to say she has the most beautiful hair and natural color that I’ve seen in a long while. Meet our Kris! Kris joined our team just two months ago but we first met Kris nearly three years ago when she and her husband hired us to care for their puppy, Stella. To my surprise this summer, I recognized her name amongst the hundreds of applications that come through our hiring software. I called her and she’s recently retired and very active and the rest is history. Kris reminds me a lot of myself, other than she is much more fit than I am🤷🏻‍♀️, she is a mom to grown children whom she loves and is a proud young Grandmom and she loves animals. Meet our Bob!! Everyone needs Bob in their life. He’s the kindest man and speaks so lovingly about his beautiful wife and daughters from the first day we met at his interview. He works a full time job, is an avid animal lover and cares for many of our amazing cat and dog clients on weekends around his family schedule. Meet Tammy!! Tammy is also a busy mom who works as a para professional in a nearby school district. Meet our Madeline! One cannot keep systems and processes in place without support in many areas and Madeline does many things to help with the day to day operations of our business. She’s a young, stay-at-home mom, with three children under the age of 5 and she visits cats or dogs for us around her home schedule and availability. Our clients may recognize her name as she monitors and reads and responds to client message in our busy software, Time to Pet, five days a week and sometimes weekends. I wouldn’t be able to run this business alone and Madeline, along with all Sarah does, helps keep things moving along smoothly and communication with our clients on a daily basis. On a personal note, Madeline also food shops for my elderly 95 1/2 year old mom weekly! I tell all of our clients (and mean it) that there isn’t one person who works for us that I wouldn’t trust even in my own mom’s home. I love and adore and appreciate you, Madeline. Thank you!!

Meet our Kelsey!! Kelsey joined our team three and a half years ago and is holding little Sophie in her arms here. Kelsey walked Sophie every day at one of our local assisted living facilities and like all of us, we adored Sophie’s mom, Shelly. Shelly passed away and Kelsey adopted Sophie and has provided her continued unconditional love. Kelsey has a kindness and sweetness to her that transcends down to the dogs she walks. She can walk every large dog we care for safely and with confidence. Kelsey is always willing to help in a pinch and is always happy. She’s an integral part of our team and we all just love you, Kels, and thank you for all you do!

Meet our Julie!!! Here she is with the sweet Miss Rooney whose mantra ‘I sometimes don’t want to walk depending on the day of the week, time of day or direction of the sun”. Miss Rooney is particular about who she will allow to leash her and whether she will walk for you always preferring belly rubs. Julie was patient from day one and has won her over more times than we can count by now! Julie’s gentle way, soft and kind heart and sweet approach to everything she does carries over well with our clients and entire team. She’s always willing to add more walks when she can and help out her friends here on the team. Thank you for all you do every day, Julie, we appreciate all of you!! On a side note, I’m sitting here each night writing about each of these wonderful human beings who work at a job they love and I want to share that I sit here and never feel like a boss to any one of them. I don’t feel like I treat them like I’m a boss. I consider each of these people my friends and I’ve come to care about each of them and their families and their health and their lives. We all work together and accomplish some amazing things each day and most of all WE provide that peace of mind for our clients. I’m so very proud of our entire team!
