DOLLY GRADUATED! From wild and crazy to well behaved!
Dollys dad is a Navy Veteran with limited mobility, while she’s not a service dog, we wanted to ensure he was still able to walk her when he wanted. This 8 month old pup came through the door jumping, dragging and pulling and left walker safe! How amazing is that

Cannot wait for the next round of scent work!!! Because OMG watching dogs learn to detect odors such as birch, anise, SEIZURE, and so many more is a favorite.
Truman is in this clip, and the tube he alerts on contains ONLY a sample from his handler during a seizure. Of course we will change his alert and shape it to the correct behavior (such as a nose boop or a paw). But here are the beginning stages of one of the most beautiful things a dog can do. Truman was donated to our program by Twisted S Golden Retrievers & ACD and has been an AMAZING addition.
While we do teach dogs to detect AKC scents (ukc if interested) this class opted to partake in an experiment on detecting seizure as well. And 7/7 dogs found the seizure scent.

ATTENTION BOARDERS, DAYCARE CLIENTS AND MORE!!!
We are now offering SLATMILL RUNS! This is a great way to exercise your dogs muscles and brain while they’re here. Of course they still get play time as well, but we would like to offer slatmill runs for $1 per minute. Recommended 15,20 and 30 min runs. (Training is included during this time)
One prerequisite is short nails! If your dog needs nail trims, these are also offered for $10 during their stay!
My dogs have fallen in love, as well as the board and trains that have used it!

A trip to Shipshewanna On The Road was one for the books.
Miss Blanche had hundreds of people walking around and moving past her and she ROCKED it. For 8 months old, this little lab is well on the path of success.
Here’s a few things we heard this weekend.
1-“my lab would NEVER sit like that”
And 2- “we would’ve never even DREAMED of taking Blanche to a place like that”
So so proud of her!!
NEXT ROUND OF AGILITY CLASS FORMING!!!
beginner 1- non contacts, this is a 6 week course teaching the fundamentals for agility! Covering jumps, tunnels, weaves, table AND the start of confidence on contacts. Weds nights at 6pm starting May 8th. Limited space available, $250
Beginner 2- contacts. 6 week course teaching the contacts, 2 on 2 off method, starting courses and learning to work independently. Beginner 1 is recommended before 2.
Drop in level 3!! This is the newest class, next level. Saturdays at 7. This class will teach drills, and is run as an on going class. The cost is $35 per class. You will have to let us know the week before if you will make it. Come to all, come to 1, as long as you let us know what weeks you’ll be there!! Starting May 4th!

Yesterday was one for the books!
4 dogs, 2 handlers and one beautiful day!!!
All of these dogs are wrapping up their final week of training, so of course we test it with an off leash hike! 3 of the pups that are off leash are finishing the 6 week college program that offers off leash reliability. The 4th is finishing up her 4 week highschool program. These dogs BLEW us away today during their session. Auncia and I (Averi) has a blast training these guys and cannot wait for the next round of dogs to bless our lives. We’re so sad to see these guys go home, but MAN have they grown throughout their programs.
This is why we do what we do. This is why we love our jobs. We get to offer you and your dog the life YOU want and deserve. We passed MANY other people, dogs, animals, cars and not ONE took a second look at the distractions. These dogs are tried and true reliable 🐾❤️
Now go home, and show your parents how AMAZING your life can be when we do things TOGETHER
There is a VERY big difference between an OBEDIENT pup… and a TRUTHFULLY HAPPY pup…. Please make sure, when you’re selecting dog trainers you’re picking one that puts your dog’s mental wellbeing very HIGH on that list🐾
