Once Paisley comes out of her shell, she is a lover. With proper introduction, she might do well with another cat. She loves the laser pointer and ribbons to play with.

Meet Gypsy
Gypsy has been coming out of her shell and showing more of her amazing personality day by day.
She loves a good belly rub and rough scratches all over. She will tell you all about her day through many meow octaves. She can be picked up for moments just as long as you keep giving her scratches. She seeks a good hideout and is scared easily as she is still adjusting to a few scary things but she’s very curious about what adventures await and wants to be loved.

Meet Jacobie and Beatrix:
Are you looking to be a hero - to find meaning and purpose in your life? Then Jacobie and Beatrix are your dream come true. Left homeless and unsure of what their futures held when their human passed away, these two beautiful ladies found themselves in a shelter and on the path to being euthanized. Luckily, a sweet foster mom stepped in and rescued them but now they need a permanent hero to reward them for the years of loyal companionship they gave their past owner. These two ladies are completely bonded and need to be adopted together. Jacobie is a
10 year old spirited grey and white queen. She's currently on an incredible weight loss journey, shedding three pounds from last Oct to her new weight of 22 lbs! As her weight has decreased her energy and spirt have increased. Jacobie is a big girl and she packs a lot of love into her healthy frame. Her favorite toys are feathers, paper towel rolls, and laser pointers. Her favorite place to sleep is on her human companion. Her bestie, Beatrix, is an elegant 12-year old black beauty and a true testament to resilience. Despite being blind and deaf, she navigates her world with grace and a little help from Jacobie. Like her friend, Beatrix is full of love and enjoys a good head scratch and napping with her family. In addition to her sight challenges, Beatrix is also has a hyper thyroid which is easily managed with two little pills a day that she easily takes. She has shown some kidney issues but at this point getting her thyroid under control seems to be mitigating that situation as well. Both ladies have perfect manners and wonderful litterbox habits. Donovan is 5 year old fuzzball who his foster parents describe as the PURRFECT dinner date. This handsome man loves to sit on the arm of the couch and chirp at you while you have a snack. Meet Calliope and Jolie
Calliope is a purebred Ragdoll that came to us with Rex a year ago. She is now 5.5 years old. She is shy, but a total sweetheart. She is going to have another dental upon return as she, unfortunately, has stomatitis that is still bothering her.
Jolie is a shy, but sweet girl at almost 3 years old. She came to us in 2022, pregnant with 4 babies. Sadly only 1 baby made it. Jolie and Calliope were adopted together and while they have very docile personalities, they have teamed up against their even more docile housemate.

Here is a list of reasons why 2 kittens are better than 1!!!! We do require that kittens be adopted in pairs if there is not already a young cat in the adopters' home. Single kitten syndrome is real, and is the number one reason that cats are returned to shelters.
There are benefits of adopting two kittens, such as more feasible training and companionship between them.
Eevee is a sweet little one. She has been in foster care since she was just a few months old. She was found wandering in a neighborhood extremely sick, but she is doing amazing now!
She enjoys cuddles in your lap, some light playing, and wet food. She makes the cutest noises, especially at meal time or when bird watching. Eevee would love a home with lots of windows and sun spots, even bird feeders!
Eevee is now without any furry friends as her one friend was adopted and other friend sadly passed.
FeLV is not contagious to people, but can be to other cats.

Meet Poppy
FAN FAVORITE ALERT: This little girl nails all your S’s in one fail swoop: Super Sweet, Small, Shy, Silky Soft, and Superpower. Poppy is a low key, beautiful tabby-like baby doll with mini stripes and dots that almost make her look like a tiny bobcat. Poppy puts a smile on her foster human’s face by making the daintiest little mews as she waits to start her day. Poppy waits patiently for breakfast with her sister, Bluebell, at the top of the basement steps and then races Bluebell down the steps. But the best part of Poppy’s day is settling into her foster mama’s arms while she teleworks. Poppy lays in front of the keyboard or on her human’s lap and looks up at her with those amber eyes like her human is the best thing on the planet. This is Poppy’s Superpower: making her human feel so loved and adored. Poppy has one more S to add to the list: Survivor. Poppy has been in her foster home for nearly six months while she underwent medical treatment and subsequent observation for a non-life threatening disease called Ocular FIP (think of it as a form of kitty coronavirus — not like human coronavirus, and not contagious with other animals or humans). If you’d like to learn more about FIP, check out ***LINK***. Because of her bout with Ocular FIP, Poppy’s growth was stunted, and she is expected to remain the perfect little petite baby that she is at just under 8 pounds. Poppy is very shy around new humans, and it is expected that it will take some time for her to understand that she is safe with her new human(s) before she relaxes and settles into her furever home. Meet Toku/Tucker
Toku/Tucker- this boy likes a clean litter box and enough of them for each cat. He did not enjoy the children nor dogs in his adoptive home. He was returned with an abscess on his tail that has now been treated and his vaccines have been boostered. He is almost 3 years old now and super cuddly. As soon as he was with his new foster family, he was making biscuits and showing them his belly.

Meet Wanda!
This sweet girl is sweeter than pie. She can oftentimes be found at the sliding glass door, at your feet begging for pets or in bed right next to you. While she may be a tad shy with new people at first she has become so confident recently. She comes when called and if you make eye contact from across the room she will come running for some pets. She also enjoys playing with her sister siblings and chasing the red dot.

If you find a cat with an ear-tip, you should leave them where they are, unless they appear unhealthy/injured or in immediate danger. Studies have shown that the presence of cats within a community will prevent other cats from moving into the area. Additionally, cats provide valuable rodent control.
This is Pippi, as in Longstocking, and she is the purriest, affectionate little girl ever. She loves as much attention and pets as you can give. She is playful, energetic, but still a snuggle bug and is usually at the side of her foster parents every chance she gets. Born around the 1st of May, she is tiny, but still holds her own against the three older kittens she is currently living with. Playful, snuggly, super soft, she is everything you could want in an adorable kitten. She still needs to finish her vet appointments, and we might have she sister who was caught just last week, so if you are interested in Pippi, and possibly her sister Annika, and you’re not in a hurry, they’ll be available for adoption in the near future, but you should still apply now or you might miss this real sweetheart.

Meet Star
Star is the smallest of the litter, and probably the shyest too, but she is coming out of her shell and can play as hard as her siblings. She loves to sleep in the cat tree, or the back of the big chair in their room. She is very sweet, playful and loves to run all over her foster home, room to room with her litter mates.
She would do best if adopted with one of her siblings, but her brother Orbit seems to be her snuggle buddy. They both would prefer a quite home with someone who is usually home. She should grow up into an awesome lady, so don’t miss out.

Meet Meep!
Meepy boy is looking for a quiet, patient, and loving forever home. He can be a little shy at first, but he’s seriously a little love bug and turning into a lap cat. He is about 2.5 and has been in foster care his whole life. He loves other cats, has been fine with dogs of all sizes, and would be okay with calmer older children and teens. He has become so confident since coming to live with us and I am just so proud of him. He is a FIP survivor and can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with a furever family.

Nova is a recent mom of four adorable babies and is a super sweet, affectionate kitten herself born around the first of November 2023. She’s very smart, chatty, trusting of new people when they visit, and loves as much attention as she can get. All she wants is to be close to her human and hang out at her foster's feet when it’s a work-from-home day. She is a great mom to her four babies who were born 19 March 2024, and will also be available for adoption soon. Pre-applications are being taken now. She is an awesome kitty with lots of personality who would make a great companion for anyone. She was still being a mom as of recently, so we haven’t seen her kitten playful side yet, but it’s there. She has some growing up to do, but we don’t think she’ll get too much bigger than she is now. Again, we don’t know how she will do meeting other pets, but she is great at meeting people. Meet Tina Tina is about 2 years old and is confirmed positive with quantitative PCR. She was tested twice months apart and her Quantity is very low, but is still very much positive. Good with other cats and a sweetheart with her current caretaker. She is sadly living in a cage in her foster home. She has been with us since March 2023 when she came to us VERY pregnant. Raven is a shy and reserved cat who takes time to warm up to people. She clearly communicates her boundaries when not ready to be pet, but once she’s comfortable, approaches you, ready to be drowned in pets. After getting to know her family members and environment, Raven makes it a habit to nap on or by you and sleeps with you each night if you let her, cuddled up against you under your arm or on your chest. In the day time, Raven loves to watch birds, play with toys and hunt her siblings between naps. Despite her timidity, Raven never says no to playtime and easily switches to play mode when given the opportunity to chase toys, pets, even laser pointers and can surprise you with her zoomies when the hunt is on. Raven would be a perfect fit for families with a quiet home and another friendly pet(s), and parents who can be patient with her until she shows her true cuddle-bug form. Tully is a tad shy when she first meets you, but she is truly a sweet girl and she’s looking for a forever home. She is independent , but will come find you when she wants her head scratched. She loves a good nap and can often be found sleeping in her favorite spot. Once she's comfortable she will rub against you and roll all over so you can pet her. A quiet home would suit Tully best as she can take time getting used to new surroundings. She has fallen in love with the dog in her foster home and will give him head bumps. Spice Girl really really really wants a furever family! Meet Spice Girl, She is curious about everything! She is a really playful girl and wants lots of people attention when in a home with no other pets. When other pets are around, she becomes more interactive with them. She would be good to have with another cat that is laid back. She will sleep on your bed at night when she thinks you are asleep, and could be a good fit with an easygoing home or one that wants a lot of interaction. Her tail will collect all the dust bunnies around your house since resembles a Swiffer duster; so she will pull her own weight in chores. She loves play and roll on the floor, and she often looks for a soft spot by a window to watch the birds. Meet Comet Comet is an outgoing Male tabby born 19 March 2024 and is one of the more adventurous of his siblings. Comet and his best litter mate (but not his sister) Frida love exploring any new area of the house they are allowed to get in to, along with his sister Galaxy. They are the very first to explore the downstairs of their foster home when they are let loose from their room. Comet is very playful with lots of energy, but still a bit shy at times. He loves to play hide and seek when it’s time for him and his family to go to bed for the night. He has met the adult kitties in his foster home without much issue, just gets scared at times when the big kitties start running around playing. He loves to play with any and all his siblings, step sis Frida, his mom Nova, tunnels, tubes, cat trees, small ball toys he can chaise, and napping in a pile of his siblings in the sun. Meet Ava Ava is one of the world's great thinkers. When this lovely lady is not showing off her athletic prowess by by sprinting around the house doing acrobatics, she loves nothing more than to contemplate life while looking out an open window or glass door. As she imagines herself tending to the world outside, she eagerly welcomes pets on top of her beautiful head and scratches under her soft wise chin. She is currently on the hunt for her furever home and a human companion on whom to bestow her love and wisdon. Her favorite place to be is on her cat tree but we know what she's really looking for is a warm and patient companion to curl up next to. Ava has perfect scratching manners and always seeks out her tree when in need of nail care. She loves playing with a lazer pointer and being brushed. She's not a huge fan of dry food but she LOVES to eat so if that's all that's offered, she will eventually partake. She's also not a real fan of water in the form of baths. Like a lot of intellectuals, Ava can be a bit quiet when you first meet her. She has to size you up, of course. But once you pass her test, she is extremely friendly, affectionate, and adaptable. You'll know your application for her love has been approved when she bestows endless leg rubs upon you. Ava has been around children, other animals and small and large dogs. She does well with children, other cats (???? is that true?????), and small to medium sized dogs but showed fear around larger dogs. Meet Asher and Blaze!!!!! These two boys have come a long way since being rescued. They love to play with all of the toys, especially anything with a bell or that makes noise. Meet Amelia! Ms. Amelia has been with us since she was a tiny bottle baby. She is a princess and definitely not afraid to let you know it. Meet Anna! Just like in the movie, she is a brave little girl! Though shy and timid, she is showing more of her bravery every day. She has started to ask for pets and will turn on her purr. Loud noises are still scary to her, but she is becoming more comfortable each day. When things are quiet she will go to town playing with her brother Sven, whether it's wrestling or playing with a toy mouse. Toku is a very lovey kitty. He greets his foster mom at the door when she gets home from work. He loves loves to play with strings and a laser pointer. When the humans move to another room, he is sure to follow! This loverboy would do well with another bigger cat that isn’t aggressive, as he loves to play and chase the other fosters. Meet Frida! It all began with a desperate call from another of M.O.A.R's volunteers looking for a foster, and of course we said yes. She was picked up by this same volunteer who called us from a shelter a few hours drive away, and just hours before this tiny girl was to be euthanized. The shelter thought she was approximately 4 weeks old, probably because of her size and weight. But we determined based on eye color and the teeth she already had she was closer to 8 weeks, or older, so we gave her a DOB of 07 March 2024 Frida has been the sweetest kitty from the very first moment she was brought to her foster family. She absolutely is a people kitty, and enjoys being loved on. Frida has adjusted well to her new little friends, but she does prefer to spend her quiet times with her humans. She follows her fosters around chirping at them for attention, and climbs into a lap or on a shoulder for a nap. The closer she can be the better she likes it ? Olive loves people, adults and kids alike, but does not like other cats, and would prefer to be the only pet in your home. She loves to play with string toys, toy mice, tunnels, and plastic balls. Meet Toku/Tucker Toku/Tucker- this boy likes a clean litter box and enough of them for each cat. He did not enjoy the children nor dogs in his adoptive home. He was returned with an abscess on his tail that has now been treated and his vaccines have been boostered. He is almost 3 years old now and super cuddly. Let's celebrate all of the gorgeous white fur babies today. Show us your snow babies. Meet Misha: Misha is a white male 7-month-old kitten with a gray spot on his head. He is the softest, sweetest, most playful little guy with a funny personality and the biggest purr. Misha is very vocal and loves attention. He likes to be picked up and cuddled. And responds with instant purrs. Misha loves playing with his littermates and with toys. He would prefer to go to a home with another kitten or a young playful cat. This will help channel his energy! Misha has interacted with other adult cats in his foster home and gets along fine. There is a large dog in his foster home, and Misha has gotten comfortable around the dog. He makes a game of sneaking up on her, bopping her, and then running away. He has not been around children much, and would not be a good fit for small children since his demands for attention sometimes involve claws and teeth (his foster family has been working on curbing this). Although Misha will dive under the sofa to hide when things get too loud or exciting, he is very social and likes to be near people. Misha likes climbing the cat tree and enjoys food, treats, and cuddles. He is definitely a lap cat! Misha is easy and adaptable as long as he gets plenty of love and playtime.
