Anyone remember this DG Pastel H/Clown stunner we scooped up from Darin Taylor at Taylor Made Morphs earlier this year? He went to work, pairing with a Pastel Spotnose DH/ DG Clown that just popped out a clutch of perfect, healthy eggs. Only more 59 days to see the stunning babies they made. 🙃

Poppy, our Lemon Ice Tegu from UNDERGROUND REPTILES, enjoyed a nice long soak last night. When I lifted her out of the tub and laid her onto the towel to dry her off she snuggled right in and has been there ever since.

The reality of breeding: sometimes the clutch you’re most excited about doesn’t quite turn out. Sometimes the girl is healthy and has laid a good healthy clutch the year before and still slugs out like this. Sucks when it happens on your Urban Camo clutch. Strike 2 for the year. We plan, we care, and we mitigate and sometimes it just doesn’t pan out. Are we bummed? Heck yeah, but this is part of it. Better luck next time, eh?
