Harvest update: despite our best efforts, Harvest got a bad infection where her original surgery to fix her leg was. The doctor recommended we remove the leg in order to save her life. She’s now 1 day post op and still getting the hang of being a tripod animal. Her spirits are still high though and we are optimistic about her future 💕

Harvest update: her surgery went fantastically. They were able to save her leg and she’s now on the road to recovery!

Harvest is in need of some good vibes. We got her this week and got her to the vet to find out her back foot is totally fractured with a bone protrusion. We’ve been referred to a specialist to try to reconstruct the foot before resorting to amputation.

She’s a trooper and trying not to let it get her down.

Meet Flik! This little ball of energy is not like most ferrets. He has some sort of issue that caused him to fully lose all control of his front paws. We are still trying to run tests to figure out if it’s permanent and what caused it, but otherwise he is in perfect health. He doesn’t let his disability get him down. I’ll post updates as we go down the path to figure out what is wrong with his paws

Poor little Hiro was neglected and denied life saving veterinary care. Today he gets to finally see the vet and hopefully see a full recovery in the coming months 💕

We picked up an emergency rescue. Everybody meet Link! He’s around 4-5 months old and probably the most loving rabbit I’ve ever met. He is to be neutered in the coming months and then attempted to be bonded with Zelda and Muffin 😄

Mice are very social animals and need companionship. Unfortunately, males will fight to the death for dominance if not separated. Our plan is to neuter each boy and place him with 2-4 girls so he can still experience the companionship of a family without fear of mating.

Hamsters are nocturnal and should not be “trained” to be up in the day. This is one of the many reasons they are not a good pet to be around small children

I rescued a mouse about 4 weeks ago. 2 weeks later she gave birth. On June 1st I’ll have 5 male mice that need homes. There will an application to make sure you have the right setup and food! I just want to make sure these four boys go to loving homes. I have tons more pictures. I have handled them every day and they will be very tame when fully grown.
