Dancer became a new grand champion in CFA on Saturday. She only needed 3 points. Dancer was only shown a couple of times as a kitten, so I called her “10 Legs” when being judged as an adult sometimes.
She was GC, BWR, RW Aurora Borealis’ first female kitten, so her name, Merry Dancer is for her mom. Both colorful Turks like some people saw in the sky a few weeks ago (unfortunately not us).
Now hopefully onto motherhood.

Way to go Iceman! Best Cat in Championship in last week’s TICA show over several top running cats. Iceman was quite content to steal or get ahold of several judges’ toys. 🥳

Delilah and a few of my Turkish Angoras have had fun as agility competitors in CFA. Turkish Angoras are arguably one of the most active longhair breeds. This is Delilah’s photo for her national agility win.

Did you know that cats can compete in agility just like dogs? Many CFA shows feature agility, where a handler takes a cat through an obstacle course by purrsuading it to follow a toy. No special training is needed -- some cats are just "naturals!" They fixate on the toy and follow it up and down stairs, through tunnels, over fences, and more! It's great fun to watch and even more fun to try!

I do not know if either are smoke or silver yet. The silver gene still confuses me, but it is a possible outcome.

Just in time for White Cat Appreciation day, Iceman got his CFA Grand Certificate today. A new grand champion at only 8 months old. 💕

This came up in my other account’s memories today from two years ago. Two red headed classic tabby males that are also full brothers, and both are very sweet.
IW BW SGCA Jennypurz Dorito Loco was the kitten. He still lives with me.
RW SGCA Jennypurz Betelgeuse is living his best life up in Massachusetts now.

Edit - These boys went to their forever home together in November 2023.

We have two Turkish Angora young adult males available. They are a little over a year old.

Sammy is the red mackerel silver tabby and white.
Panda is the black smoke and white van.

Both were shown to the title of Grand Premier in CFA.
They are already neutered, have had their vaccines (FVRCP and rabies), and are microchipped.
