Today was a special installation of one our Custom dog Doors for a Special Great Dane named Thor.. most only see a dog door as means to allow a dog to go in and out so we dont have open and close the door every time a dog or cat has to go potty.. We often over look the SAFETY aspect of a dog door.. because of a dog door Thor was able to escape a house fire that forced the rest of his family out of a window to a roof top till help was able to arrive.. Most homes now a days can be difficult to find a solutions when it comes to giving your pets the the freedom to come and go outdoors with the use of a dog door. He you see a customer chose a sliding glass door panel insert. Convenient ,simple easy to install. However over time they become not so convenient. You lose the ability use the sliding glass door for your self. If your hosting a cook out you have to remove the insert. They get worn out and drafty.. not efficient on many levels
