I started doing art and crafts as a Hobby, a way to unwind and destress from my job in the ER/Trauma Department. In 2013 I was intrigued with wood burning (pyrography), so I started making small things for family and friends (plaques, signs, bookmarks. A few years later I was diagnosed with Mental Health problems, so my Art and Crafts became my Therapy. My first Dachshund (Sioux), became my emotio

n support & we acquired 2 more Sully & Luna. Now after 2 back surgeries, I am no longer able to work full time. I started spending more time designing and burning as continued self-therapy. Then Luna, our 2year old Dachshund passed away suddenly. At this point I began to go, go, go with my wood burning, next thing I knew I wanted to share my talent. So, with my husband’s 100% support we started a page where I can show my work. I also try to attend Vendor Fairs where I can talk to people about why I do this. Dachshunds are close to my heart and that is how the Name ‘3 Doxie Creations’ came to be.

The setup for this past weekend's event was remarkable. Due to illness, I was forced to miss the second day. I would like to thank my husband, Tim, for stepping in while I was unable to participate. After three days of being unwell, I am still struggling to recover. Thank you to everyone who has supported our endeavors with 3 Doxie Creations.
