Loki is a handsome tuxedo cat who comes to Town & Country Veterinary Clinic for acupuncture to help manage his arthritis. During his sessions, we focus on comfort, relaxation, and gentle pain relief — with calming spa music in the background to help create a low-stress, soothing experience.

According to Loki’s mom, he truly loves his acupuncture visits and always leaves feeling “pretty, pretty good.” Seeing patients like Loki relaxed, comfortable, and content during their treatments is exactly why we love what we do.

Acupuncture can be a wonderful complementary therapy for pets with arthritis, helping to reduce discomfort, improve mobility, and support overall quality of life. We’re so grateful to Loki’s family for trusting us with his care and for allowing us to love on their sweet boy every step of the way 🖤

❄️ Do dogs need a winter coat? 🐶🧥

Not always—but many do! Just like us, some pups feel the cold more than others.

Small breeds, short-haired dogs, seniors, puppies, and pets with medical conditions can lose body heat quickly and may need a cozy coat for winter walks. If your dog is shivering, lifting their paws, or trying to rush back inside, that’s their way of saying “I’m cold!”

On the flip side, thick-furred and double-coated breeds may not need extra layers—but even they can struggle in extreme cold, wind, or wet weather.

✨ When in doubt, a coat is a kind choice.
