On 12/1, Stillbrook Farm will have one full board opening at our private facility in Chesterfield County. We would love to have you and your equine partner join us!
Facility Amenities Include:
-Bright and airy 12x12' rubber matted stalls with windows open to the outside for additional ventilation in the summer [or closed in the winter].
-Individual fans/lights/outlets at each stall.
-Some stalls feature attached 12x20 sunshine paddocks.
-100' x 200' sand ring with lights.
-Private restroom in barn.
-Clean and well organized tack room. Each boarder receives two saddle racks, two bridle racks, and room for one black [Husky style] tack box. Additional storage is available above the barn.
-Trailer parking available.
-Automatic waterers in fields.
-Seasonal access to trails.
About Stillbrook Farm:
We are a small, private 10 stall barn 30 acres in Chesterfield, Virginia. The farm is located at the end of a long and quiet dirt approximately 15 minutes from the Hull Street/Winterpock corridor, 20 minutes from 288/Hull Street, and 40 minutes from downtown Richmond. We are a quiet barn with a friendly and serene atmosphere where everyone is helpful and willing to share knowledge. The farm is family owned, with a mother/daughter duo providing the majority of the care. We have a fun blend of retirees, show horses, youngsters, and trail horses.
Board Rates:
-Full board is $650/month. That includes stall cleaned daily and re-bedded as necessary. Water buckets scrubbed and filled daily. Horses are fed twice per day in their stalls, Tribute grain and a locally produced orchard/fescue hay. Unless in the case of severe weather, horses are turned out daily so that they can be horses. In the summer they are on PM turnout and in the winter they are on AM turnout.
