Puppy update: puppies had their 4 week vist at Bluffs Veterinary Clinic. The puppies will be going to csu for a specialist consult. All puppies have varying degrees of deafness and all puppies lack a menace response in their eyes. We are not sure the extent of their special needs are or what their quality of life will be. We are not sure when or if these puppy will be become available. If they become adoptable they will need a very special home as these babies will never hear or see normally.

Cookie says good morning everyone! It's time to play.
Cookie our little death Row dog has made so many strides. She is a true testament to what we do at the ranch. We help all that are broken and lost find healing. She is becoming a well adjusted dog filled with life again. Not only has her life changed but she has changed our family's lives as well. She brings so much joy and love to the ranch. Her whimsical attitude just lights up the room.
Her skin is healing and she is no longer having gastrointestinal flare ups. She does require a prescription diet to keep her food allergies and GI issues in check.

We are accepting donations for her long term care. You can call the vet clinic ( Bluffs Veterinary Clinic ) directly to pay a donation on our account or use our donation link. It is currently costing $250 a month in prescription food and treats for this sweet girl. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated ❤️ 💙 💜 💖

A kind woman on another farm found these precious babies. She asked us to help them after she worked to get them dry and warm. They are about two weeks old and fighting eye infections. They had their very first vet visit with Bluffs Veterinary Clinic and Dr Amy. They are tiny but mighty and we are cautiously optimistic.

Our non-profit Skyward Ranch K9 and Sanctuary Inc has been very busy lately raising these four rescue puppies. We would also like to thank The Broken Bandit Wildlife Center Inc. In caring for the sickest puppy out of the litter. These guys did not have the greatest start in life but where doing our best to give them their best shot at a wonderful future.
For anyone interested in donating I will attach our link and post Broken Bandit's as well. We are currently in need of donations , potty pads and dog food of any kind.
If your interested in adding a puppy to your home please pm us and I will forward or application. A home visit is required to ensure the best possible fit for these special pups. There is a contract that these pups are never to be rehomed and must returned to the Sanctuary if you can not care for the pup regardless on the stage of life. Puppies have a non negotiable spay and nueter contract.
Puppies will leave the Sanctuary after 12 weeks of age and have met all of their milestones. All puppies will have full vet care from Bluffs vet in pine bluffs, will be microchiped and have a health certificate on adoption day. You will have full support from the Sanctuary for advice and at least two free training sessions a year for the life of your pet. Our mission is to keep pets out of shelters and only want the best homes for these little guys.
These guys will be ready the first week of November. They are expected to be medium size as adults as mom is very petite. We are not sure on the actual mix but we can all agree they are cute little potatoes. These puppies all have coffee names Mocha , Macchiato, Latte, expresso and Beans at Broken Bandit.

Went to the kennel to adopt a puppy
Watched dozens of pleading looks
Heard your fears and cries
They were screams loaded with trauma.
I wanted to apologize to each one, explain, talk, caress them.
I tried to kindly talk to some, but tears ran down my face and voice went away.
There was nothing to understand.
Anyone was able to understand the screams of every little creature that was there:
"Take me with you. "

We can't save everyone, but if each of us can help a little life, together we will transform many destinies.

We have a very special bunny who is looking for the perfect home. Mr Harriman is a 6 year old rabbit that loves people. He loves to be walked on his leash and loves human attention. His perfect home is one were he can be the ultimate house bunny.
Hid previous owner is heartbroken that he has to be rehomed and only hopes for a home where he can be the center of attention. He is scheduled for a wellness visit next week and then will be ready for his potential new home. He will go on a return contract to the sanctuary if for any reason the new owners can not keep him.

Thank you Cookies Mobile Pet Grooming LLC for coming out today to bathe some of our wonderful sanctuary dogs and giving one of our resident bunnies a much needed hair cut. You guys are always wonderful and so attentive to our senior pups needs.
These guys may be available in the future pending medical care and behavioral assessments.

We would like to introduce one of our permanent sanctuary dogs. Moose is a five year old saint Bernard cross. He came to us when he started showing signs of troubling behaviors the owners were not equipped to deal with. He has gone through the program for the last six months and has become a wonderful ambassador. He is currently learning 4h events as he adores children.

Skyward Ranch K9 and Sanctuary Inc. is a non profit organization registered in the state of Wyoming. Our focus is at risk dogs that need additional help to get them ready to be in an adoptive home. We rescue, rehabilitate and then find dogs their happily ever after. If a new home is not in a dogs best interest then they remain in safety as a permanent sanctuary dog for the rest of their lives.

Our requirements for adoption:
Fill out an adoption application
Pass a home visit
Adoption contract that includes any animal adopted from us must be returned if an adoptive family can not keep their pet.
Small adoption donation ranging from $200 to $300

What is included in adoption.
Spay/neuter, current shots, microchip and (dental depending on age/ need.) Health certificate
Two free training sessions to help your new family member adjust to your new home.
Lifetime support and mentoring for your new family member
