🐾 Important Announcement from Buddy’s Golden Horizon🐾

After much reflection, we’ve made the decision to pause our breeding plans for the foreseeable future.

Right now, shelters, rescues, and pounds are in a state of crisis—overflowing with dogs in need of loving homes. As responsible breeders, we believe it’s important to acknowledge this and do our part to help.

While we remain deeply committed to preserving and protecting our breed through ethical, health-tested breeding, we also recognize that now is a time for compassion, awareness, and action.

We encourage everyone to:

✅ Adopt if you can – Give a dog in need a second chance.
✅ Donate or volunteer – Shelters need help more than ever.
✅ Shop responsibly – Support ethical breeders who prioritize health, structure, and temperament, not profit.

This is not goodbye—just a pause made out of respect for the dogs who don’t have the security ours do. Thank you for your support and understanding. 🐶❤️

🐾 Meet the Heart Behind Buddy’s Golden Horizon! 🐾

Hey there! We’re so glad you stopped by. We’d love to introduce ourselves — we’re the faces behind Buddy’s Golden Horizon. I’m Victoria, and alongside me is my wonderful spouse, Jacob Green. We’re a young, dedicated couple with a shared love for animals, adventure, and building a life full of purpose and passion.

I’m 22 years old and proudly Southern-born and raised. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a very young age, I had an undeniable connection with animals — rescuing, nurturing, and simply loving them with my whole heart. I started this breeding journey on my own when I was just 17 years old. What began as a passion for rescuing animals blossomed into a commitment to ethical and responsible dog breeding, with a focus on health, temperament, and companionship.

Jacob is 23 and originally from Central Illinois. He’s a licensed mechanic with a serious love for cars and a soft spot for our four-legged family members. Together, we make a great team — whether we’re traveling, taking pet photos, or just spending time with our dogs at home.

At Buddy’s Golden Horizon, our dogs & cat are never just pets — they’re family. All of our dogs and every puppy we produce are raised inside our home, where they are loved, spoiled, and socialized daily. We are deeply committed to the health and well-being of every dog that comes through our doors. That’s why we prioritize full OFA and genetic testing for all of our breeding dogs to ensure we’re producing puppies who are not just beautiful — but also happy, healthy, and confident.

Our mission is simple but close to our hearts:

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our breeding program — a gorgeous 4-month-old Yorkshire Terrier! 🐾💙

This handsome little guy is AKC registered and comes from an exceptional show champion pedigree, and we couldn’t be more excited about his potential. His personality is already shining through — full of charm, confidence, and that classic Yorkie s***k!

At this time, we’re planning to use him for future stud use, and we may even explore the idea of adding a female down the road — but no final decisions have been made just yet. For now, we’re enjoying watching him grow and settle in!

Well… we had a Maximus x Hazel puppy get returned to us due to financial hardships & a recent breakup. We named him Frank Gallagher since he stayed with us for 6 months until he found a home. Luckily, they kept the name Frank Gallagher and nickname him Funky Frank! 😂
Frank is being sent off the first week of July to a service/therapy dog organization at no charge since he already has three of his full siblings inside the same organization. He’s also going to be living with his full sisters and they are going to help teach him a few things.
